Default USA, the Spirit of Old Glory

A Quality Comics character I wish DC / Roy Thomas used back in All-Star Squadron.
Her first appearance was in Feature Comics #42 (March 1941).

Have no idea what comic this splash page is from or who the artist is but I like it.

Always loved the Ray since I was little, aesthetically his costume just has an iconic look.
The characters came from Quality. Putting them together as the Freedom Fighters is all DC.

Smash Comics #38 (cover-dated December 1942); artist is credited as Paul Gustavson according to the GCD.

    Thanks, MajorHoy.

I always liked the Quality characters...better than most DC characters.

The Quality characters had powers unlike many DC characters. I wish DC had managed their acquired characters better.
