    Default Batman Legacy Reading Order

    I know there is a chance of DC releasing a new trade of this at some point considering they have released all of NML.

    But I decided to collect the individual issues got it just in case they drag their feet. I've managed to I think collect the importance comics needed, just need a reading order if anyone can help;

    Batman Bane of the Demon 1-4
    Azrael 36-40
    Catwoman 33-36
    Detective Comics 697-699
    Robin 31-33
    Detective Comics 700-702
    Shadow of the Bat 53/54
    Batman 533/534
    Batman: Bane One Shot (1997)

    Thanks.

    Edit; Actually, Azrael 36-40 leads into CATACLYSM doesn't it.

    I don't have time to comment much on Legacy for now, too wrapped up in NML, but I wanted to say this: Az 36-39 or 40 with Az vs Bane is one of my fave Azrael arcs and a super underrated Bane story, Az 36-39 is going before Cataclysm in my NML bind...40 is already in Cataclysm trades.
    Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft

    Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”

    Yeah I've never read the story but as soon as I saw it had a bane/azrael rematch I had to track it down. Would this be the order to read these to;

    CONTAGION-LEGACY (Ending with the Bane 1997 One Shot)-AZRAEL 36-39-CATACLYSM

    Yes, that's the general order.

    Bro, the issues are numbered. Legacy part one, part two, etc. And a quick wiki search will give more info.

    Not that I don't love talking a bout these 90s stories, they are my fav, but just FYI nahmean

    I saw the page, it's there, it's coming. In fact, I might have caused the placement on Amazon (I sent out an inquisitive email like a week ago )

    I'm definitely thinking this new trade will at least have more than the previous OOP print one.

    Yeah with DC including nearly everything with these NML trades, I have hope they'll include more than the old trade.
