I guess this might count: The voice of Siege of Paris Pierre (not to be confused with Pierre from Unity) is reportedly Dan Jeannote (Confirmed by Dan himself on twitter but not listed on anything yet I think) who voiced Arno in Unity.
Although he also had small roles in III and IV.
They've also reportedly changed the voice for Randvi, for the DLC. I guess the original actress was not available to record new lines.

When you get unbreakable arrows, raven remote retrieval, Amber Sun, plague of rats, and passive healing, you are basically invincible
The passive healing really helps if the "Goliath" troops get a hold of you, which often halves your health.

Discovery mode has been released. This time, there's actually a storyline added on top of the usual stuff.

There are trailers now for a crossover with Odyssey which will include not only a new Valhalla quest with Kassandra (revealing some of what she was up to for 2500 years), but also a new quest for Odyssey. It comes out tomorrow.
As rumored, it appears Eivor thinks Randvi is up to no good but it turns out to be Kassandra due to their similar hairstyles and build.
Also for the Ragnarok expansion, which doesn't come out until next March. Seems to be a continuation of the Asgard part of the story.

I have to agree with others on the oddity of not allowing Alexios to appear as a character in the latter game’s DLC – the actor in question must have clearly done new dialogue for the first half over in Odyssey going by the description, so why is it so difficult not to provide the option to choose between Kassandra and Alexios in the Valhalla half? Core canon is a bit irrelevant to a player if they’re invested in Alexios as a character in my opinion, regardless of whether their Elivor is male or female. This would be if Female Shepard had turned up in the flesh to meet Ryder in Mass Effect Andromeda – no offence against Jennifer Hale (she’s awesome) but if a player was invested in Male Shep and Mark Meer, they’d be kind of disappointed. I think Ubisoft should consider doing an eventual patch with Alexios for the Valhalla half, and those who would like to see him meet Elivor should definitely ask (politely) for it. If they can change DLC romance issues over in Odyseey, they should be able with some time to do that. Anyway sounds awesome regardless.
If Crossovers is an ongoing thing, it'd be a great opportunity for the late 18th century/early 19th century storylines to overlap, with Connor, Aveline, and maybe even Arno taking on Shay, the Assassin turned Templar from Rogue (Shay, for instance, killed Arno's father) who nearly destroyed the colonial brotherhood before Conner rebuilt it.
Valhalla's "vinland" map is a prequel to some of the events of ACIII and is pretty much a recreation of the frontier map (Similar to how Red Dead 2's second part re-used Red Dead 1's) so they're already halfway there.

Played the Odyssey quest. Seems to imply that more of Kassandra's whereabouts during the other games might be touched upon at some point, perhaps in AC Infinity which is supposed to cover several time periods apart from just the present and one or two past eras.

The Valhalla Kassandra crossover, much like the Odyssey crossover is kind of mainly just a fetch quest with a small new island. Doesn't have a boss battle-there's a Kassandra vs. Eivor scene but it is just a cutscene/unplayable. The final challenge is pretty much one of those annoying light puzzles.
The characters do have pretty good chemistry though, especially since 1) They both come from warrior cultures 2) They both are hard partiers 3) They are not quite Assassins (nor Templars) but use their techniques.

Im not sure, but the discovery add on, is it worth the time? I liked some elements of valhalla, but not huge fan.... I was a bit dissapointed of the game.... My favorite games in the series are black flags and Odyssey (I loved this game)
Valhalla I just did not feel connected or invested in the charachters. The new add on, is it a game or educational? not sure I understand precise what the add on is... might just be me getting older and more stup.d :-/
This time they added more game elements to the Discovery mode (Your avatar is given a story this time), but it's primarily educational. It also details how actual history differs from elements of the game, acting as a bit of behind the scenes stuff as well. There are also versions for Origins and Odyssey.
Basically you kind of just wonder over to markers on the map, press a button and a paragraph or narration details things.
Here's Ubi's page on it: https://www.ubisoft.com/en-us/game/a...discovery-tour
Black Flag and Odyssey are kind of similar in that they are heavily sea-based, where in Valhalla your boat is pretty small, is useless for attacking on it's own etc. Ever played Rogue? It's basically part of the Kenway saga but you play as a Templar helping Haytham dismantle the Order in the colonies between IV and III. Also sets up UNITY a bit. Uses a ship but instead of the Carribean it's mostly the Canadian coast.

The Dawn of Ragnarok expansion is arriving in a few days. Reportedly it has no "present day" content, and is presumably continuing the story of the Asgard portion of the game, which was how Eivor envisioned his Isu memories (An "Animus within an animus" thing like what Revelations did with Ezio & Altair). This will probably be "Odin" and co. dealing with the Great Catastrophe (The solar flare which wiped out the Isu civilization).
Since it's supposed to be a huge expansion it's not part of the season pass and will cost about $40.

I would have to say overall this is not worth paying full cost for. It just isn't. To not be included in the Season pass it flat out isn't enough content to be that expensive. The powers concept was actually interesting and "new" for an AC game. But, I dont care how big the map and "world" is if its flat out empty. You add a lot of vertical space as well with the raven power and being able to fly. But theres like 5 things in the air to get too. And the rest of the time you are flying over vast open space that's there for no reason other than to be a lot of space to fly over.
