Georgia governor overrides all local mask orders in the state

Wasn't so long ago that Governor Abbott did the same thing in Texas. Then the big wave began post July 4th and he mandated masks. Wonder if Georgia's governor will be willing to do the same as numbers continue to climb.

Crazy how the data is all right there and leaders keep making the same tragic mistakes.

And here I was thinking Parscale had been dumped because of the Tulsa attendance debacle, now we know the REAL reason, he moved in on the Donald's main squeeze, an unpardonable sin. In hindsight, I've suspected that if Herr Gropingfuhrer hadn't gone into politics, he would've already dumped Melania who's WAY past her shelf life as a Trump trophy wife.

Trumps tweets also ignore the fact that black people are far more likely to be over policed, in their own communities, and subject to far more scrutiny when venturing into white dominated communities, or basically anywhere white people have decided they don't belong.

Accurate data would examine police interaction, level of police engagement, statics on stops and the result of said stop, etc, etc.

That happened here in the state capital a few days ago. There was rally in Indianapolis and the leaders were State Senator Eddie Melton who is black and State Senator J.D. Ford, who is white. When a thunderstorm rolled in they got permission to take shelter inside the Statehouse by showing their ID and credentials to an official, once inside guess who got aggressive treatment by a guard inside the building?

“This interaction with the officers was aggressive from the start and could have been de-escalated, but was not,” Ford said.

Belinda Drake, a Gary native and Democratic state Senate candidate from Indianapolis, said a white Capitol Police officer came rushing toward the group yelling at Melton to “freeze” while unsnapping the holster on his firearm.

“Senator Ford tried to deescalate the situation, tried to get the trooper to take notice and listen, but the trooper was so singularly focused on Senator Melton,” Drake said.

I see many social media sites that are always talking about the Dems not getting over Hillary's loss every time they bring up the latest Trump controversy. What does this say about them if they post things like this? These people are sick.

That is the truth of the matter, Dems have moved on from 2016 except maybe as a cautionary lesson. The far-Right, however, including Trump, are still obsessed with 2016 in the same way they are obsessed with President Obama. A Black Man, a White Woman, lord knows what will happen when it's a Black Woman. That would really drive them crazy.

After Peddling Conspiracy, Chuck Woolery Announces Son Has COVID And Deletes Twitter

Conservative commentator and ex-“Wheel of Fortune” host Chuck Woolery, from whom President Donald Trump retweeted an unhinged post accusing health experts of “lying” about COVID-19, deleted his Twitter account after revealing that his son had gotten infected with the virus.

On Sunday, Woolery tweeted a screed baselessly claiming that doctors and the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) were conspiring with Democrats and the media to sabotage Trump with “outrageous lies” about COVID-19.

But in a dizzying about-face several hours after Trump’s retweet, Woolery issued a post suddenly affirming the existence of the coronavirus on Monday.

“To further clarify and add perspective, Covid-19 is real and it is here,” the conservative firebrand tweeted. “My son tested positive for the virus, and I feel for of those suffering and especially for those who have lost loved ones.”
