They are not going to give details on what the documents contain. Anyone who thinks the DOJ is going to say

"Well we took these papers out of Trumps home. They have info on a nuclear missile site in New Mexico. here is a map, the codes to the gate and just for fun the launch codes and schedules of the security guards."

No one is expecting that kind of detail, no one said they want that kind of detail and anyone expecting that level of detail is as dumb as the average Fox News Viewer.

The only thing that will make it super clear as to why they went in and why the judge signed off on the warrant is if the Affidavit is released. The papers and statements that show the judge this is why they wanted the warrant. This is what we think he has and these are the statements from Witness that confirm it.

I know the NY Times is suing to get it released and I am sure the DOJ will fight that hard. Cant have witness names and statements and the details of an ongoing investigation released to the press for some click bait articles.

I think the warrant's release is simply to show that there was a process and cause and take one small talking point away. But people in the media need to stop acting like additional facts will ever change the opinions of the Trumpets. It's not about them, they're a lost cause. The FBI could literally have him on video handing classified documents to Saudi officials while monologuing about it and Republicans would deflect and defend, just as he was on audio confessing to sexual assault and nothing happened. It's about the rest of us.

New Politico/Morning Consult poll shows Trump with a HUGE lead for the GOP primaries. With 56% of Republicans wanting him, he is 38 points ahead of Desantis. Everybody else is in the single digits.

Which just goes to show the part that denial and the need for someone’s fantasies to be protected is - supporting someone else is admitting Trump is an incompetent criminal and national security threat, which is admitting that someone’s earlier choices were foolish, morally repugnant, and proof of a flaw in their nationalism than can’t be tolerated.

So doubling down on the denial becomes “neccessary” for anyone who lacks the maturity to admit their own mistakes.

o they need to meet with Tucker and see what line they are going with because they are all over the place right now.

It actually got me thinking that maybe Trump pulled a fast one. He frames a legal search and seizure as a 'raid', goes on about how they planted evidence, makes the FBI out to be the bad guys- and when the warrant is released containing only very vague information, he can shout to the heavens 'See? There were no nuclear secrets in there!' even though it obviously wouldn't be stated on the warrant as such. And so the grift continues.


Oh, and in more good news, I just got an alert stating Polio has been found in New York City's sewage. Don't call it a comeback...

Oh, some of the GOP screeching heads are. They want the FBI to justify everything down to the choice of socks the agents wore that day and are going to use the slightest missing punctuation mark as an excuse to cry "THE FBI IS HIDING THINGS! WE CAN'T TRUST THEM!!!!"

Of course they're already whining that its all "A hoax like Russia!" and trying to make that the narrative.
