I mean the problem is you have to hope that an unjust impeachment is viewed as so far beyond the pale that it won't happen. But yes, you could effectively dismantle impeachment as a valid tool if one party just does it over and over again because they don't like the opposition

One method of nullifying partisan-generated impeachments could be to modify the rules to make anonymous voting mandatory in those situations.
It would allow Senators to vote with their conscience instead of being pressured to vote along party lines. After becoming obvious that it's a waste of time they'd be less likely to happen.

Of course we would think that trade can only bring benefits to society, because we are the ones that have all of the bargaining power to set the terms of trade, and we have never been shy about forcibly opening markets to our companies, or toppling uncooperative leaders when it serves our interests. How do you think people would feel if the Chinese plotted to rig the election in order to put a puppet president in office that would open the doors for Huawei to build up their 5G network here? Sounds like an insane right wing conspiracy theory, right? But this is the exact sort of thing that the US has done countless times to other countries that didn't want to play ball, why would we have gone through all the trouble of doing that if we could've just gotten everything we wanted by asking nicely?

The thing is one of the biggest clues was right out in the open when Trump had that rally where he asked if Russia was listening and could they get Hillary's emails. Then *boom* hacked emails from the Democratic National Committee and Clinton campaign manager John Podesta were transmitted from a Russian-government proxy, Guccifer 2.0 to WikiLeaks on July 14, 2016. It's too bad they couldn't get Julian Assange extradited.

Also to ensure "certain" people are concentrated in "certain" districts, limiting the number of representatives "certain" people can claim out of the whole number. Preferable by far that "certain" people of talent are confined to competing among themselves rather than requiring "the right sort of" people to answer how their representation serves "certain" people in their districts.

He's going to leave an administration that's at the threshold of all US casualties in World War 2, so what's 13 more bodies to add to the pile for a sociopath.

He'd have run from Florida, and I don't know it would have been any different. It would have been one more grievance to both inflame his spite, and to with which to pretend common-cause with the common-man against the elites.
