The government wanting to control how private businesses operate is very authoritarian and is actually quite communistic/socialistic. ESG isn’t even a liberal or conservative thing, it’s just about sustainability analysis of anywhere a company wants to do business.

All this is the logical conclusion of modern right-wing politics. It’s something that ******* Nick Fuentes said after the midterms, he basically said that the US isn’t really a conservative country and force will be needed to get everyone to heel. He was basically saying out loud what Bannon and the MAGA movement have been trying to do. It’s about forcing everyone to believe what they believe or suffer the consequences. This is exactly what DeSantis is doing in Florida. It’s also why I really see DeSantis struggling on the national stage, his politics will appeal to people in Florida and the deep red states but will turn off a lot of independents in other parts of the country. I mean, this is the same guy that said that kids shouldn’t be taught that America was built on stolen land. He’s going to have a very hard time convincing people outside the hardcore conservative pipeline on why they should vote for him. His politics is politics by way of 4chan.

It’s ironic that the Hispanic Americans that ran from communism and oppression find it comfortable supporting someone who’s actions are dangerously close to what they have a problem with.

Alex Jones files for bankruptcy protection, lists Sandy Hook families as creditors

Infowars host Alex Jones filed for personal bankruptcy protection on Friday on the heels of a Connecticut jury and judge ordering him to pay $1.44 billion in damages to relatives of the Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting massacre victims, a new court filing shows.

An attorney for Sandy Hook families later told CNBC that Jones’s move will not shield his assets from the legal damages imposed on him for making false claims that the shooting that killed 20 first-graders and six adults was a hoax.

An attorney for the Sandy Hook families told CNBC in an email, “Like every other cowardly move Alex Jones has made, this bankruptcy will not work.”

“The bankruptcy system does not protect anyone who engages in intentional and egregious attacks on others, as Mr. Jones did,” said Chris Mattei, a lawyer with the firm Koskoff, Koskoff & Bieder.

“The American judicial system will hold Alex Jones accountable, and we will never stop working to enforce the jury’s verdict,” Mattei said.
