In all seriousness, if your only reference point for race relations is how minorities are treated in America, then of course everything is going to look like genocide. Luckily, not everyone is so cruel.

You either have no idea what the word means, or more likely, you have the same amount of intellectual dishonesty as a Fox News evening show (which is none in case that wasn't obvious).

Whataboutism is bringing something else up in order to avoid condemning something that is wrong. As opposed to drawing parallels between two different actions which are both condemned. If you were the slightest bit interested in an actual discussion rather than grabbing the first flimsy chance to yell 'gotcha' you would have been able to see that. Instead you have merely illustrated the value you add to any discussion (which is also none in case that wasn't obvious).

China has controlled these areas for almost 70 years now, you would think that if the plan was to exterminate them it would have happened by now.

I can easily see that things are unfair in Western Europe and USA. But to me that seems far from unique.

Criticize China all you like, but just recognize that when you do so it's largely just regurgitating propaganda spun by the Trump administration to deflect from its own failings. I just have a hard time believing that the same people who killed a million Muslims in the war on terror and spent the better part of two decades demonizing them in every way possible have all of a sudden done an about face and are now genuinely concerned about preserving their religion and culture.

New Coronavirus infections in Germany went up to over 1000 again on Friday, a level last seen on a regular basis in April and early May. We already were down to weekly averages of under 500. It's upsetting that people are getting so complacent even here. There also was a big protest by the the "masks off" idiots in Berlin yesterday. 20,000 people. When police ended the event because of countless rule violations (no masks, no social distancing etc), 18 cops ended up injured.

Not even close. Kid Jackboot, like Trump, was sowing the seeds of suspicion of mail-in balloting. Miller knows what he said was bullshit, but it's effective in cranking up the paranoia of the brainless boobs who watch Faux News 24/7.

What are they hiding?

Plenty, but that might not be why Trump is doing this. He lives for his grievances (real and imagined) and gets triggered every time any reporter doesn't play the part of his bootlicker. Add that to the decades-long sustained attack by Republicans on any non right-wing media and this should play very well with his base.

He'll probably also take the opportunity to do some stuff when no one can see, but I dont think that is the primary reason.
