And this is in addition to the criminalizing of miscarriages.

You didn't even bother to read the article did you. The article doesn't cite anything about liberals but it does cite books that conservatives banned.

Jackson's name is definitely coming up a lot as Biden's likely pick.

Yes, There wil be always a dark horse candidate in the 2024 election.

If Joe Biden decides to not run for reelection, then I wonder who will get the Democratic nomination?

You can forget Andrew Cuomo. As a three-term governor of New York, he might have a chance in the upcoming presidential election. but that was before the sexual harassment allegations.

Gavin Newsom? He narrowly escaped the recall. Perhaps he will have a chance to make it to the White House if he wants to run for president.

Bernie Sanders? He already ran twice and failed to win the nomination. He will already be over 80 years by the time 2024 election commences.

Don't count out the other former presidential primary candidates. Joe Biden ran for president in the Democratic primaries three or four times before he got elected. So why would they not run for a second time?

Pete Buttigieg? He has a long way to go towards the White house.

Bill de Blasio? He has socialist views and liberal principles but his own city hates him.

Amy Klobuchar? She's got a lot of baggage on her senate record.

Kirsten Gillibrand? I don't trust her.

Cory Booker? He has said a couple of interesting ideas about how to run the country, but I am not sure about him.

Kamala Harris makes no secret of her presidential ambitions but she needs to convince the democrats to support her bid.

Tucker Carlson: ‘Of course I’m not an agent of Russia’

Tucker Carlson, the Fox News host, has been the tribune of the skeptical base. During one especially feisty exchange on Monday with Representative Mike Turner of Ohio, the top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, Carlson asked, “Why is it disloyal to side with Russia, but loyal to side with Ukraine? It’s a sincere question.”
“Such confrontations have muddied the Republican response and undermined the effort of Republican leaders to paint Mr. Biden’s response as weak,” our colleague Jonathan Weisman writes in a succinct analysis of the emerging fault lines on the right.

In an interview Wednesday, Carlson forcefully defended his remarks, which some critics have cast as giving aid and comfort to Russian aggression toward Ukraine.

“Everything I’ve said about Russia and Ukraine strikes me as commonplace, as obvious,” Carlson said. “I don’t think my opinions are considered radical.”

As for the G.O.P. hawks who are urging Biden to supply Ukraine with Stinger missiles and Javelin anti-tank weapons, “I don’t think they’re all on the Raytheon payroll,” Carlson said. “They’re just on autopilot. These were zombie ideas that they never updated.”

Carlson shrugged off the accusation that he’s toeing the Kremlin’s line, whether through his comments on Ukraine or through his seeming fascination with Prime Minister Viktor Orban of Hungary, who is close to Moscow. On Wednesday, the streaming service Fox Nation released “Hungary vs. Soros: The Fight for Civilization,” which Carlson filmed in Budapest, the Hungarian capital.

“I don’t care, if that’s the question,” he said. “I’ve never been to Russia, I don’t speak Russian. Of course I’m not an agent of Russia.”

I am sure they will nominate a good one.

I would love to see it be Obama just to see the epic meltdown on Fox.
If Joe Biden nominates Andrew Cuomo for a seat on the Supreme Court, the Fox news will have a field day and the Republicans' massive tweets will overload and crash the twitter website.

Of course I have read the Conservatives' and Republicans' tweets aout Joe Biden announcement of a Black female judge. Especially the black Conservatives. If you haven't read Candace Owens' or Diamond and Silk's reactions on twitter, then you should.

Biden is going to hold to his word and nominate a Black Woman to the SC. There are plenty to choose from.

Any links to those reactions? I don't see how keeping one promise saves his presidency though but it is his choice.

I don't quite understand what social changes regarding LGBT+ rights have been harmful for society. Or what that has to do with unmarried parents and how are unmarried parents harmful to society.

And one can make decisions about their life according to their personal opinion. No law (in western world) forces people to have abortions. Just as no one forces people to undergo a sex change or marry whom they want. It tends to be only one side (conservative) that wants to have a say in rights of others.
With abortion, there is the argument that it is the equivalent of infanticide. In this case, the fetus is inconvenienced and killed for the sake of another's freedom.

If the fetus has limited value, that would suggest a merit in laws forcing people to have abortions under the right circumstances.

There are certain conflicts between gay marriage, and the rights of people who oppose it. The Masterpiece cake shop case is instructive, where the Colorado Civil Rights commission insisted that a baker who was personally opposed to gay marriage was legally obligated to make wedding cakes for a gay marriage. The Supreme Court eventually ruled against it 7-2.

A reasonable person can agree with the Supreme Court justices (Kennedy, Breyer, Kagan) who sided with the baker and also with the right to gay marriage in Obergfell. This is my position, but it's not everybody's as there's opposition to gay marriage on the right, and horror at any compromise on the left.

I'll note the argument on social changes isn't mine, but it is our obligation as informed people who try to understand the world to be able to articulate the strongest arguments of people we disagree with, so I'll give it my best shot. Someone on that side would note that there has been significant cultural change in the last few generations, with an increase in the number of divorce as well as unmarried parents. These come with all sorts of problems.

In some cases like spousal abuse, divorce is a good thing. But unnecessary divorces when children are involved are a tragedy. The nuclear family is better for a high percentage of Americans, so this is something that should be encouraged, even if it's not for everyone. So this thing should be established as the ideal, as it's better for society and better for most Americans. Some Americans will fall by the wayside, but it's a tradeoff that's worth it for all the people nudged into having better lives.
    Sincerely,
    Thomas Mets

So, does anybody know why Ezra Miller posted a video suggesting members of the North Carolina KKK should kill themselves with their own guns, otherwise we will do it for them?

Not that I'm sympathizing with the KKK, but I certainly didn't have this on my bingo card for the year.
