I suspect those “other people” will lay low and not come near this thread for a day or two as I doubt even they can justify this disaster.

This is mess I would have expect when Obama got elected. A push back to a black president yet everybody was able to behave or try to under him for 8 years.

Yea the die hard republican and trump supporters on my Facebook and other social media pages are pretty silent today. It's a far cry from when the BLM movement was happening over the summer and all the ignorant and racist people where blasting protesters and echoing Trump with law and order and all that stuff. Some big name Fox news host and other twitter warriors like Tomi Lahren and Ann Coulter are up in arms about this.

Pence asked Trump to appear on TV to ask the rioters to leave the Capitol and go back home and Trump refused. Chris Christie is trying to call Trump but Trump doesn't answer.

This is surely an easily predictable consequence of the Donald’s contempt for the electoral process.

And just as easy to predict that his holding a rally will spread the virus and ruin the health of many people..not all of them rally attendees. (We all have to use supermarkets, or use public transport at some point.)

99 times out of a hundred, I hate to see any one go to jail unless they have committed a violent crime. But beginning to think that sadly I would quite like the Donald to do jail time.
