Missouri hair stylist with coronavirus worked while symptomatic, exposed dozens of clients
A hair stylist in Springfield, Missouri, exposed as many as 91 people to coronavirus after working at a salon for eight days while symptomatic, health officials said Friday.
The exposed include 84 Great Clips customers and, potentially, seven coworkers, said Clay Goddard, director of the Springfield-Greene County Health Department. The condition of the stylist, who was not identified, was not revealed.
So far, no other positive case connected to the stylist has been confirmed, but the county is nonetheless facing "a glut of cases," Goddard said.
Those exposed at the salon would be offered tests.
"The good news is both the clients and the hairstylists were masked" at the time of exposure, he said.
Goddard said at a news conference Friday that more cases like this would quickly strain Springfield's ability to care for patients.

Brazil is now #2 in the world in cases & the far right leader, Jair Bolsonaro keeps acting like it's no big deal. His supporters certainly agree & if you find them on social media, they rival Trump's base in delusion & attacking critics of his inaction.
As someone who works for a financial institution, and who just spent the better part of 3 months going back into customer support emails to edit out full account numbers and other sensitive information, I am truly stunned at the level of stupidity shown here. You have to think it's now only a matter of time before someone hacks his account, especially if his lazy ass doesn't change it.
Of course, that may be hard with a banking holiday on Monday....

We might not have Bolsonaro to kick around much longer, thankfully:
Brazilians got a shocking look Friday at an expletive-laced meeting between President Jair Bolsonaro and his cabinet when a Supreme Court judge released a video at the center of an investigation targeting the far-right leader.
The April 22 cabinet meeting is under scrutiny by prosecutors probing allegations by former justice minister Sergio Moro that Bolsonaro tried to interfere in federal police investigations.
But it could prove just as damaging to Bolsonaro's 18-month-old government for other sordid details it contains.
They include the president using profanity to insult governors, the education minister calling to throw Supreme Court justices in jail and the environment minister urging the government to legalize mining and farming in the Amazon rainforest while the world is distracted by the coronavirus pandemic.
The video came to light when Moro resigned two days after the meeting.
In a damaging final press conference, the then-justice minister, a popular anti-corruption crusader, accused Bolsonaro of "political interference" in the federal police.
Police are reportedly investigating multiple cases involving Bolsonaro and his inner circle, including allegations that his son Carlos, a Rio de Janeiro city councilor, oversaw a fake-news campaign to benefit his father.

Fox News poll: Biden opens up 8-point lead over Trump
BY JONATHAN EASLEY
A new Fox News poll finds former Vice President Joe Biden leading President Trump by 8 points nationally, with the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee opening up wide leads among independents and older voters who broke for Trump in 2016.
The survey released Thursday finds Biden at 48 percent support and Trump at 40 percent, with 11 percent undecided or saying they’ll support someone else. Trump and Biden were knotted at 42 percent in the same survey last month.
Biden leads by 17 points among voters aged 65 and older and by 13 points among independents.
Exit polls found older voters going for Trump by 7 points in 2016. Trump also won independents by 4 points.

The key part I was looking for in the article, the key question I needed answering when I saw that headline to decide if this was news or just a mountain out of a mole hill was this line: Plus, seeing as most of Sanders' supporters made multiple donations to his campaign
More data is needed on this, to hammer home of the point, or reveal it as an unnecessary expectation. But from that line, it does seem this is a valid issue to discuss, perhaps.
