Are you talking about the color revolution as described in TIPS https://s3.documentcloud.org/documen...ection-and.pdf

cloaked sedition never looked more righteous

Biden’s strategic assets include Democratic governors and Secretaries of State in swing states (notably in
North Carolina, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin); a broadly shared sense in the Democratic Party
that current voting systems, as well as the electoral college, are structurally anti-democratic; and a widespread and deeply-held desire, on the part of Democrats nationwide, to move on from the chaos of the
Trump administration. In all the scenarios examined in TIP’s exercises, even as votes were still being
counted, Team Biden moved quickly to try to project an ability to govern, by announcing cabinet nominees, an agenda for the first 100 days, and bipartisan support for its administration.
During the exercises, Team Biden and Democratic elected officials took the following steps:
    • Organizing 1,000 “influencers” to denounce efforts to steal the election.
    • Organizing all living presidents to stand with Biden and denounce Trump administration efforts
    to subvert the democratic process.
    • Recruiting moderate Republican Governors such as Baker (MA) and Hogan (MD) to form an
    “Election Protection” Coalition.
    • Working with local Democratic elected officials to call on the Adjutant General of the National
Guard, along with representatives from the technology sector, to monitor vote counting.
    • Organizing a bipartisan “National Day for Restoration of Democracy” and a “National Day of
    Unity,” both including faith leaders.
    • Attempting a capital strike and a work stoppage as part of an overall effort to push corporate
leaders to insist that all ballots to be counted.
The fourth and final scenario gives Trump a clear victory in the Electoral College, but Biden supposedly wins the popular vote, leading to unrest. Using the alleged popular-vote win as leverage, Biden and his Deep State backers demand “concessions” including eliminating the Electoral College, making Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico into (Democrat-controlled) states, turning California into multiple states, and thereby packing the U.S. Senate with a new Democrat senators. West Coast states threaten secession if Trump and America do not give in. There is no clear president on January 20, and the TIP report cryptically concludes that it was not clear what the military would do.

Rightfully so - the more electronic our system becomes the more suspect it will become as it follow one of the most basic conspiracy memes. Power in the handful of the powerful.

Who’s faith? Catholic faith? Protestant faith? Mormon faith? Hebrew faith? Islamic faith? Buddhist faith? Taoist faith? Hindu faith? Sikh faith? Wiccan faith? Satanic faith? Shamanic faith? And that’s just off the top of my head. The list is a LONG one, who gets to decide without pissing off scores and scores of people who don’t identify as Christian?

America isn't just a Christian nation. It is also a nation of many different faiths, because the Constitution protects the freedom of religion.

We know what faith he means. He is all fine with having the Christian faith in the schools and Christian prayers. But no way would he want a Muslim child praying, or a Jewish child.

When people talk of faith in school they want to pray to a Christian God and a Jesus that even though born in the middle east is a white guy with a 6 pack.

And that's why we have separation of Church and State. A Christian might argue that since they live in a small town where everyone is Christian and goes to the same church, why not have Christian prayer in the local public school? But suppose that a year after they start having that Christian prayer, a Muslim family or an atheist family moves in and their children go to that same public school. It's just asking for a lawsuit.

BTW, I'm just guessing from his name that Josh Mandel is Jewish. So, as a conservative, he ought to know what it's like to be the one Jew in a group of Christians. So for him to be in favor of something like this seems the height if hypocrisy.

By law you are right - by tradition not so much so while we don't have an official religion and can't, there is no prohibition on the traditions. The idea of creating religion free zones is recent one as if some sort of metaphysical free vacuum can exist.
    According to One assessment
Seven in ten Americans (70%) identify as Christian, including more than four in ten who identify as white Christian and more than one-quarter who identify as Christian of color. Nearly one in four Americans (23%) are religiously unaffiliated, and 5% identify with non-Christian religions.[1]
    but Pew reports
Pew Research Center telephone surveys conducted in 2018 and 2019, 65% of American adults describe themselves as Christians when asked about their religion, down 12 percentage points over the past decade. Meanwhile, the religiously unaffiliated share of the population, consisting of people who describe their religious identity as atheist, agnostic or “nothing in particular,” now stands at 26%, up from 17% in 2009.

The problem is that Democrats can’t arrest and try any Republican lawmakers without setting a very ugly precedent. The potential for abuse is very real considering the level of crazy and disregard for decorum in the Republican Party right now. If Trump should win re-election in 2024 (god forbid) do we really want him to have the ability to arrest and prosecute Democrats for whatever BS reason he can think of? Since we can’t rely on the GOP to police itself our only recourse is to heavily organize, vote them out, and keep them out until sanity somehow returns to their ranks. Probably after Trump dies.

umm because as a jew he knows he isn't in a majority and has developed a way to stay jewish. Growing up in very jewish NYC there was never a need to purge the system only don't teach religion. Plenty of religious schools for that. Yet one more reason why the State and community are not synonyms. I feel schools and diversity would be better served by reflecting their communities not some leveling force like the state.

And riding a T-Rex while hefting an M-16. I have no use for religion myself, but I respect those who follow the faith of their choice, what I don’t want is having religion shoved down everyone’s throats. If you want to practice your faith, fine, do so in church or at home, not in school or in businesses or anywhere else in society.

The more I read about this story, the more I see this was an utter disaster in every sense of the word.
