I think the funniest thing about the California Recall Election was Elder's plan to claim "voter fraud" but putting up a website a day before the voting took place and really making him look like a comedy show. Not only did it become a massive joke on a national scale , the fact that was his plan on losing was exposed. It wasn't losing with grace or dignity , it was basically pulling a Trump and doing it in such a clownish way it exposed Republicans now.

As many will wonder if they lose in 2022 will they do a Larry Elder and put up bogus websites and have people laughing at them ?

I hear the ads in NY. Seems the only thing Ciattarelli is running on is Murphy said "If tax rates are the ONLY thing that care about, NJ is not your State" Now, Ciattarelli is making a big deal about taxes and that Murphy doesn't care how old people are forced to leave the State because of high taxes (which isn't true) But more, Murphy clearly is saying that if ALL you want is lowering the marginal tax rate, which is Mitch McConnell's reason to breath, there are more important issues NJ is dealing with. He didn't say taxes weren't an issue, he said is you ONLY care about rates. So the whole thing is a lot of bull.
I would think Murphy can paint Ciattarelli as a "tax cuts for the rich" Republican quite easily.

For Ciattarelli to attack Murphy on taxes while the focus of citizens is still on COVID seems like the wrong sort of strategy. But hey, wrong headed strategy is what the GQP specializes in.

By the amount of ads I hear on NY radio, it is obvious there is a ton of corporate money behind Ciattarelli, so it's funny how he is attacking Murphy as "wall Street Guy". I can tell you who will cut corporate taxes and make sweet heart deals with big business and it's not the "Wall Street Guy".

That’s among the findings in a first-of-its-kind survey of people aged 16 to 25 conducted by researchers at The University of Bath, NYU Langone Health, Stanford Medicine Center and other institutions. The peer-reviewed paper, which was accepted for publication Monday by Lancet Planetary Health, surveyed 10,000 young adults in 10 countries.

“As bad as the storms are outside, the storms inside are even worse,” report co-author Lise van Susteren said in an interview. “Children don’t live in a cave. They’re more media savvy than we are. They know it’s not some campfire gone awry on the West Coast.”

The numbers: 83 percent said people have failed to care for the planet; 75 percent called the future frightening; 39 percent said they’re hesitant to have children.

Most worrisome in the big picture was a widespread mistrust of government. Among U.S. respondents, only 21 percent said government could be trusted, the worst showing of any country.

In India, nearly 3 in 4 teens and young adults said humanity is doomed. In Brazil, 78 percent said the government lies. Ninety-two percent of Filipinos called the future frightening.

“Climate anxiety in children and young people should not be seen as simply caused by ecological disaster; it is also caused by more powerful ‘others’ (adults and governments) failing to act on the threats being faced,” researchers wrote.

It's not about upholding the democratic process to them, it's undermining it enough so people will question everything unless their candidates win, at which case, the process was fair and just.

Yes. But it is incredibly easy to get that okay. All you have to do is file the proper paperwork and as long as you don't have a history of advocating or committing violence, you'll get that permit. But I have a feeling that some of these anti-abortion groups don't even bother trying to get a permit so they can cry oppression when they're inevitably arrested.
