In the case of Biden, I hope he's going ahead with the idea of what he can do with a GOP majority and a nihilist like McConnell. The President has a lot of powers with Executive Orders, and Foreign Policy, and significant push on allocation and direction of the Federal budget. The thing is Biden and his team need to advertise this like crazy...do the liberal version of Trump signing his name on Stimulus Checks. Make sure everyone knows it's Biden in charge of the good stuff and McConnell is responsible for the bad stuff.

Even if we get a 50-50 senate, Biden et al. can only count on 18 months to get anything done before the mid-term elections lock everything up. I hope the mid-terms roll in such a way that he has a full 42 months to work with, but he can't count on it.

Yes. The Democratic Party needs to continue to engage their electorate and not re-create the mistakes of 2010. Gotta keep them awake and motivated to vote. Part of that is a simple, consistent messaging campaign.
