My Republican friends (probably soon to be ex-friends): The Election fraud is so obvious that the only possible reason you don't see it is that you are more naive than I ever believed you could be or are willfully ignorant due to bias.

Me: Sure. It's actually a brilliant plan to expose the bias of hundreds of judges by making them throw out cases for lack of any evidence.

Incidentally, the guy misspelled fraud and wrote Freud, prompting another friend to say, "Wow, the irony of that is astounding".

But it is scary. It is estimated that 80% of the population thinks Biden rightfully won the election. But only 50% of Republicans accept it. That means 20-25% of the U.S. population (if surveys are accurate) are so stupid as to fall for such an obvious con from a master conman.

So apparently Lindsay Graham asked the Georgia Secretary of State if he could find a way to toss legal ballots. So I guess if the legal challenges won't work, they'll just flat out steal it.

We've argued about this in the past, but what source do you have to support the idea that Gore should have won Florida, and likely would have won the recount under the rules his legal team insisted upon?

It's becoming increasingly difficult for me to maintain friendships with my conservative friends. Sometimes it's like we inhabit different realities.

Because I go by all the votes cast, which is what the FL Supreme Court ruled. You can play your game all you want, but Gore got more votes in Florida and the Supreme out should have let the total recount go forward. And again, he got more votes in Florida. Period, full stop.

Man, he can't help but people an ass on the way out. Just completely and utterly awful to the core.

The Trump administration is asking oil and gas companies to pick parts of Alaska's Arctic National Wildlife Refuge they want to drill — a last-minute push to auction off leases in the pristine landscape before Biden takes office.

It doesn't matter. These law professors won't convince anyone who all ready believed that Biden stole the election. Plus, this is all meaningless legally until we hear it from a judge. Some opinions really are better than others. But the only opinions that matter are the opinions of judges.

I'll gesture in the direction of Trump supporters in South Dakota denying the existence of Covid-19 while they are in the hospital dying of Covid-19.

    Maybe.

    Or maybe its:

    @EmmaVigeland
: Do you think Joe Biden is a socialist?

    Trump supporter: Yes.

Reporter: How would you define socialism?

Trump supporter: I define socialism as when you bring down your own country, your own race, because he’s not black.
Anti-blackness remains a primary driver against the social good.

I couldn't help myself thinking about the radically opposite "God hates f*gs" and "God helps those who help themselves" slogans tragically crashing against each other.

And so far, every judge who's heard one of these cases has tossed it out of court. Every. Last. One.
