Who ever said that logic played any role in any of this? Most of those supporting this don't seem to understand that they are also questioning their own elections. You can't say that fraud occurred at the top of the ballot and not also admit that fraud occurred all the way down the ballot. They are throwing away their own political careers to make a spoiled, whinny Mob-baby happy.

You know that just might be it. The standard since Obama has been to treat dems as illegitimate. They couldn't get dirt on Biden so they have to do this. Sad thing is it's just as effective to their base as birtherism. No doubt they will cast this net for literally every democrat victory of note now. Since this is easier than trying to make new scandels for each candidate.

From my understanding, the French system allows people to vote in two stages: first for their favorite of any nominees and next for their favorite of the top two. That's more conducive to outsiders since voters don't have to worry about the lesser of two evils argument early on.

They way it was spelled out on The Beat is that Republicans consider all Democrats as Illegitimate, all elected Democrats as illegitimate. They feel that those who vote for Democrats are not Americans, are not legally allowed to vote. Anyone who isn't Male, White, straight, older than 30, and Conservative, are not legitimate Americans.

There's been a bunch of eejits in primarily northern California for a long time that have bitched about how unshakably left-leaning California is because of all the urban centers there and so on. They've been trying to create the "State of Jefferson" or some nonsense so they can have complete control in their own right-wing haven.
