I was born in Kentucky. Small town Kentucky. We had 6 black people in my town and I swear to god if you asked someone where they were someone would know. The Black Lives Matter movment scares the Hell out of small town country Kentucky. I hear it every time I go back there or talk to friends and family from there. Add in Antifa shut downs and masks. **** these people lose their minds and will vote for who ever promises to make it all better. Even when Mitch gives their tax dollars to the rich they will smile shake his hand and thank them for it.

Lyndon Johnson said it best: "If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best [Black] man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you."

Sometimes kind of wish the southern states had managed to secede from the Union.

Wouldn't have worked. Kentucky never seceded. It was a border state, along with Missouri, Maryland and Delaware, keeping their slaves, but remaining in the Union. You can also count West Virginia, which seceded from Virginia, and then petitioned for statehood in the Union. And there are a lot of red-hat voters in those five states.

God we will still be hearing about this for the next 20 years. I mean **** we still get people who hate Bush Jr go on about that when they bash Bush.

The GOP has to find a reason for Trump to lose. It cant be because he is a **** truck who is racist, sexist, caters to the rich, spends more time bitching about peoples tweets then he does with real issues.

Funny thing is no one in their right mind buys this. the only ones who do are hard core Trumpers who will most likely not vote when Trump is gone, and will double down on not voting because what is the point? System is rigged. So Trump is more likely hurting the GOP in the long run.

Can we talk about how Trump is calling on protests in DC (like the "protests" from the Proud Boys attacking historic black churches in DC recently) when the electoral votes are tallied on Jan. 6th? He's literally starting to foment an uprising telling them to "be wild"?

Because this s*** is scary. He's not "both sides"ing Charlottesville now, he's sending them e-vites.

It later circulated among some students at Heritage High School, which she and Mr. Galligan attended, but did not cause much of a stir.

While what she did was not acceptable, the context that you laid out doesn't have much to do with the actual reality of what took place.

That it got out later is not the same as her having used it at school(what you seem to have described...)

Except it's not from some random left leaning somebody, the stupid, hateful things are coming from the leaders of your Party. It wasn't some college kid in Georgia who posed with the KKK, it was the Senator running for re-election. They aren't proxies, they are your Party.

Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Ohio that helped elect Trump aren't in the South. Arkansas and even Mississippi don't have armed rednecks storming their Statehouses the way Michigan does. Tennessee doesn't have the kind of Militia presence you find in Montana, Colorado, or Idaho.

Thinking that racism, small mindedness and fascistic nationalism are purely Southern defects is a bigotry of its own kind.
