I suppose the only good thing to come from a Trump 2024 campaign (and potential victory) is that the crown would be denied to Ted Cruz again.

Another thing is that, so long as Biden is successful (prevents an economic contraction of disastrous proportions, gets COVID under control with far fewer deaths under his tenure than Trump, and restores our place in the world), it becomes a campaign contrasting the unpopular president from four years ago to a currently popular president in 2024. That's an ideal situation. It's hard to believe that Trump has gained support among the electorate since the attempted insurrection at the Capitol in January. Given that Trump isn't going to have the opportunity to reset his image (nor, do I think, the political instincts or will to do so) with no public social media presence and a litany of prosecutors knocking on his door, it is unlikely Trump will be able to stage a comeback with independents. Indeed, a lot of the ad hominem attacks against Biden would likely not pass the smell test for independents who even voted for Trump last time, fearing "socialism". President Biden seems to be governing with a popular agenda and with popular policy proposals to boot. House Republicans will likely even have a few break ranks to vote for the COVID relief package that is upcoming, due to its robust, bipartisan support.
While I don't like the idea of taking a bet on it (this election was close in key states), I think Trump running against a successful Biden could potentially be a good thing for Democrats in 2024--complete with concern for re-runs of 2016 and concerns about how close the election ultimately was in 2020. Still, I would rather that man never get within a sniff of the Oval Office again.

Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
From what I have read on twitter, and I don't know if it is true or not so take it with a grain of salt, apparently Steve Bannon believed that Trump was in early stage dementia.
Assuming that this is correct, and that he has been in decline since at least 2016, by 2023 Trump might start showing signs of serious deterioration.
On the other hand, if this isn't true, then Trump would do just about anything, no matter how illegal, immoral, unethical, criminal, and violent, to take back the white House.

And at least Biden is using Camp David, which has security set up in place. I think Trump went there only once or twice. Trump forced the Secret Service to go to Mar A Lago or his other golf courses and they had to pay the Trump Organization. I'm waiting to see the final tally on that bill!
BTW, Trump requested and got 6 months Secret Service Protection for 14 family members for after he left office. Trump, Melania and Barron will continue to get Secret Service from now on...the law only extends this life long service to immediate family.
Trump attacks McConnell in fiery statement
lol, even though Mitch voted to acquit him, Trump is trashing Mitch publicly. Calling for the party to abandon him. Man, must’ve been really ticked off by Mitch calling him out for his role in instigating the riot last month so he’s bringing the sharpest rhetorical knives he can bring against McConnell. Which is good. McConnell, for me, was always worse than Trump since he was largely instrumental in stalling much needed COVID reliefs for months, and never budged on giving people more than a measly 600$, and even before that he stonewall much of the Democrats agenda. If Trump can turn the party against Mitch that would essentially be a gift to the Dems.

Apologies. It’s been fixed.

Well yeah. This is the reason some independents voted for Trump in the first place. When he criticized George W. Bush, or Jeb Bush, or Ted Cruz, he wasn't wrong. And some of the things he's saying about McConnell are true, too. And what McConnell said about Trump is true. It's like a wrestling match between two heels. You don't know who to root against.
