All I can say is that I'm glad he waited until after Trump was out of office to die. If Trump were still President, he would have issued an executive order for Limbaugh's body to lie in state at the Capitol.

Somebody at my job made a joke about how if he were still in office, Trump would have declared a national day of mourning.




Having said that, say what you will about Rush...but when he said something outrageous and got criticized, he didn't cry that someone was taking away his free speech or that folks were trying to "cancel" him.

AON or someone will give Trump a show. They can air a warning that his show is entertainment to avoid any issues. But his loyal audience would flock to radio or TV. (He'd do TV as his ego craves that !)

While just how far out the guy is remains hard to guess at?

I'd have to imagine that the positively "Kooked..." range that he believes he should be paid for anything like a show would be a pretty serious roadblock as far as him actually landing a show of his own on an existing network.

Fox dumped Lou Dobbs after months of him badmouthing Smartmatic and Dominion. The guy at Newsmax ran off camera because creepy MyPillow Mike Lindell wouldn't shut up about his baseless theories that he was spewing for months..

These people will have lawyers on the ready if Trump gets any kind of TV or radio gig. These media companies don't want that flak. Ratings will never make up for out of court settlement money plus atty fees.

I wonder if he would take over where Rush left off in this case. Like they hire him for the same job? Although would he be happy moving to radio over say, Tv?

Being honest I don't think Trump could host a show. His mind and more where he wouldn't have a script to follow shows how off the rails he'd go live. His speeches were car wrecks at times where he'd jump off what was written and then say some wild absurd shit. His audience ate it up but a lot was just bizarre from discussing bathroom flushing to suddenly rambling off topic.

His mind has all these thoughts begging to come out and its scattered so quick he couldn't time them or anything right. Like say in the old WWF Attitude Era of wrestling Vince Russo as writer would discuss BULLET POINTS for wrestlers in promos to nail. Like if you watch Beyond the Mat he's telling Sable to 1- Sell her bad back kayfabe wise . 2- Sell her program with (I think Luna) and 3- Hype the PPV . A producer would hand Trump bullet points to nail in a 5-8 minute opening spot like say Jimmy Kimmel. He'd then say all the bullet points within a minute or 2 and be forced to ramble on lol.
