The Union Jack and the Stars and Bars are two different things.
Watching television is not an activity.
They have to do with Europe's history but originate from the same things, i think the union jack flag originates from scotland and has something to do with the Royal family, I don't know why the hee-yaw howdy-doody confederates used it though.
btw saying national socialist is completely "right wing" again, the political spectrum was created by french intellectualism, it's kind of open to debate and quite prone to circular semantic bickering that is often used when discussing it.
It's like saying that communism is the far right, or that Germany was communist.
Oh noes, China predicted to overtake U.S. economy, China is far right wing imperialist.

The Soviet Union and Communist China are NationAl soCialisTs, they are imperial and attempting to constantly increase their borders not at all in the same manner that Germany was attempting, Germany retained their national heritage based on being white and european thus=right wing. I guess the communist countries want to force "sharing" through imperialism, and Germany, well, that's a complicated affair altogether. Was Germany actually really that racist? that's actually somewhat debatable as well. If Germany was so racist, why then do they let countries like America be on their side? no offence, but Americans are not really "aryans" per-say and likewise Germany had problems with ethno-centric tendencies and white supremacy but all the white countries do altogether. I actually figured out what it was with Germany and it wasn't altogether race entirely, but it's hard to say I guess, it's more they have ideas and expectations for certain personality traits or tendencies, it's hard to explain or describe entirely. (which is not against America) but physical feature wise, Americans and Germans do not look all that similar.
But likewise, I used to know a lot of "hudderites" which are this German devote religious group, the Nazis might not have been that fond of them for various reasons, though again their ideas probably aren't entirely against them, it's hard to explain.
It's not actually America that's the odd one out, being fascist but not at all socialist about it, they're just like this giant fascist capitalist country, that's even worse then the Nazis and it's just so nasty.

500,000 dead, a number almost too large to grasp
A year ago, covid-19 had killed just a handful of people in the United States. Now, the pandemic’s official death toll equals the size of a major city, more than the population of Kansas City, Mo., and nearly as many as Atlanta or Sacramento.
It can be hard to grasp the enormity — almost half a million people, gone. What if we imagined them traveling as one group? Or killed in action? Or all buried together?

Conservatives have proven that all they care about is power and influence.
If they cared about the budget, they wouldn't have let Trump spend so freely during his term.
If they cared about international policy, they wouldn't have let Trump make deals with foreign nations that have less than ideal histories with us.
But now that Biden is in charge, those matter all of a sudden.
I have no clue where the hell this user came from that is spouting nonsense about Nazi Germany being socialist. It's that whole "National Socialism" fallacy thing all over again where the terminology doesn't mean the reality, cause we all know the Democratic People's Republic of Korea sure don't believe in democracy or a fair republic, for example.
There are two main knocks against Newsom.
The first is personal hypocrisy, with the incident where he was at a fundraiser at the French Laundry, which violated the spirit of the rules he had imposed.

There is also the way California has had strict regulations, including the first statewide state at home order. What was it all for if people in Florida don't have to live under lockdown, and the results there aren't significantly worse?
Sincerely,
Thomas Mets
The Civil War was from 1861 to 1865, and according to Wikipedia between 620,000 to 750,000 deaths. That is about (averaging it out) 172,000 deaths per year. So, in a year-by-year comparison, COVID is way ahead of the American Civil War. If COVID lasted 4 years, it would beat the Civil War by at least 3x.
The 2018 pandemic, US death toll was about 675,000 over two years (Sourcing CDC). If COVID followed the same path and more deaths occurred in 2021, we could be looking at a tie with the 2018 Pandemic.
Hopefully the vaccines will slow down the spread and significant decrease the number of deaths. Though there may still be long term complications from the virus among suriviors.
