Rep. Ken Buck (R-Colo.) — Colorado's GOP party chair — has gotten himself into an election scandal that has nothing to do with his own election.
Colorado state Rep. Larry Liston and GOP activist David Stiver both competed in the Republican primary for Colorado's 10th District state senate seat in March, with Liston getting 74 percent of the vote and Stiver getting 24 percent. Candidates need 30 percent to make it onto the November ballot, but Buck tried to push Stiver forward anyway, Eli Bremer, the GOP chairman for state Senate District 10, tells The Denver Post.
On an April 17 conference call with around 200 GOP elected officials and county officers from around Colorado, the group voted to push Stiver to the November ballot even though the 10th District hadn't voted to do so. "Do you understand the order of the executive committee and the central committee that you will submit the paperwork to include Mr. Stiver and Mr. Liston on the ballot, with Mr. Liston receiving the top-line vote?" Buck asked Bremer on the call, according to a recording obtained by The Denver Post. Bremer responded by calling the order a "false affidavit" and said he'd seek "legal counsel" to ensure the move wasn't a "misdemeanor" before doing so. Buck pushed Bremer multiple times before agreeing to "move on."
    Yikes.

Well, if we're going to hold candidates to things from the late 1980s, then we'll have to bring up Biden's plagiarism scandal, won't we?

Never mind that you would have to bring up that Biden sounded a whole lot like "2020 Tucker Carlson..." back when he was talking about the crime bill.

Meanwhile, the DOJ just dropped all charges against Flynn, saying it was an 'easy decision', but yeah sure let's whine about the cirme bill.

    I'm gonna say it.

Anyone who brings up the crime bill automatically loses their argument and is a partisan hack. African Americans wanted it, the left and right wanted it. At the time it seemed like a good idea. It was turned into a bad one but hindsight etc.

Nobody could have prevented the pandemic. But the response could have been significantly better and less people would be dead and we’d be making less sacrifices on the back end

That's the key. I'm no fan of Hillary Clinton, but she would've taken the virus seriously and acted swiftly to protect the country, not slow-walked the government's response then called it a hoax like Trump had done. God knows she would've been FAR more emphatic towards the dead and suffering while Drano Don only cared about his polling numbers while whining like a spoiled child about how the media treated him.

To say nothing of dissolving task forces designed for this very thing alongside disease prevention efforts in China itself. We had people embedded that the GOP yanked. The idea that 'Trump hasn't been that big a disaster' is just manifestly absurd when you look at his actual record but, hey, tax cuts and judges I guess. 70,000 dead Americans is a small price to pay to make the rich richer.

Four dead Americans got us years and years and years of investigations. 100-200k will get us nothing but crickets. The trump body count is real, and the GOP just doesn't give a flying $#$#.
