Could you post up a picture in your breakroom of you fake stabbing a coworker and then turning on your boss because you hate them?

It is very simple ethical proposition that most companies will have. And why would we expect any less of elected officials in Congress.

Especially given the fact that we have already seen how the GOP base will act on January 6. Gosar and others can't claim "joke" or oh he deleted it what's the big deal. When you KNOW there are a scary number of your base that legit tried to hunt down your coworkers and killed officers trying to get to them.

If AOC is so bad at her job, her policies so wrong, why do the opposition resort to the most base childish attacks? Debate her bad policies with yours. Tweet that! They never do it because they don't have any.
False comparison lifted from CNN - If you worked at Bannon's War Room you might see such pictures. That Corporate America stifles anything that might distract from business is not a measure of some kind of morality unless you are suggesting as above by numberthirty that it is inefficacy in government that it is itself a moral stand. Basically any supposed 'ethical stand' is a financial one regarding lawsuits not anybody's feelings. In Congress not so much, hence the process we just saw.

It is just a matter of POV. Plenty of political leaders have disavowed violence, or not, its your call. To me it isn't and apparently a lot of others as well.

I gew up in the City. When I was a teenager, twice I found myself being followed (and I wasn't just being paranoid).

I used to walk to stores, the library, and so on.

Once I was followed on foot, and I manged to make it to a store, where I ducked inside until I felt it was safe to leave.

Another time, I was walking on the street and a car followed behind me. I quickly crossed the street and headed back towards home.

If you are out on the street and a stranger in a car approaches you, you are going to have to make a choice, stay or run. Especially if the car comes in close and the person inside sounds hostile.
My take from watching this, Aubrey was a 'threat' because he wasn't obedient. The person who shot him admitted that Aubrey didn't exhibit any signs of being threat, but he called him a threat, just because he wouldn't stop and he wouldn't talk to him and he was black on a white neighborhood.

Either way he would have been shot.

Comparing the DSA, which did not participate in a violent insurrection in which people died and whose members would have been the targets of the mob on 1/6 which explicitly has indicated a desire to do them harm, to the various right wing paramilitaries which broadcast violent, eliminationist rhetoric shows exactly how bad faith and low quality a troll you are. Do better, please.

Now, now, they're clearly very scary, being women of color who use words to make valid points based on evidence. It's no wonder Xheight ranks them on the level with heavily armed domestic terrorist goons and is s***ing his pants in fear of them.

NYT and WP both have headlines that states that Travis the shooter feared for his life. I mean, my god, the prosecution pretty much shot that theory all to heck. Aubry was no threat.

So anyone who holds countervailing views is a Troll - I already said I don't have a particular problem with political violence and that doesn't discount who is and who isn't an enemy of the American Values. DSA would otherwise be a subversive organization in a different era. Are you going to tell me that Socialism isn't abhorrent as any violence for people still? Unlike you I don't particularly believe in political progress so what exists now isn't better than it was necessarily, and in fact by 1/6ers it is probably over and done now that the Steal is complete. I doubt I am going to persuade you that 1/6 was for the good of the country but I am only here to point out that there are people that do legitimately feel that way and they have a voice and a capacity to trash as well as be trashed as is being done in this discourse. I have pointed out that this isn't "teaching" people a lesson other than the government is now the enemy.

“On Jan. 6, the government says, Mr. Chansley was among the first 30 rioters to enter the Capitol and quickly used a bullhorn to ‘rile up the crowd and demand that lawmakers be brought out.’ Within an hour, he had made it to the Senate floor, taking the seat that Vice President MIKE PENCE had only just evacuated and leaving a note on the dais saying, ‘It’s Only A Matter of Time. Justice Is Coming!’”

Cower in fear at the threat of Bernie Sanders coming to beat you up and take your lunch money!

Pathetic. You're wetting your pants at the thought of democratic socialism, the same thing that exists throughout virtually all of Western Europe.

Bannon's War Room? That's your example? If Steve Bannon got upset over every employee who had an issue with him, he'd soon have no employees. Oh wait. He might soon have no employees for a different reason.

The sad thing is there was no way Aubry was getting out of that encounter alive. 3 pumped up guys with a gun acting like they were the law. there was only one way that would have ended.

Damn that socialism that allows seniors to use Medicare for their health care. Or unemployment insurance that helps people in between jobs. Or SNAP for families that don't have money for food. SSI for the disabled. Housing assistance for military families that can't afford rent in the cities they are stationed at. Medicaid for the indigent. Yea, these socialist programs that the US have are as 'abhorrent as any violence for people still'.

Not to mention in your post about Jennifer Fielder where a group of civilians armed with assault rifles showed up looking to possibly kill a group of “Antifa” because of a tweet from an elected official. How did we get to the point where that isn’t profoundly unsettling? A point where armed groups believe they are sanctioned by the government to shoot protesters.
We didn’t get here from hyperbolic comments by Democrats.
