The GOP are so incapable of doing ANYTHING right now that they just resubmitted their 2016 GOP Party Platform as the 2020 one. Which of course, had support from Ukraine removed from it, wanted a border wall built, and came out in support of gay conversion therapy.

It also made several attacks directed at "the current president". Which, means the 2020 GOP Party Platform attacks Trump because they couldn't be bothered with simple edits.

No wonder The Onion is on life support. Not even they can dream up four alarm stupidity like what the GOP regularly traffics in. Astonishing!

For whatever reason, there weren't many mainstream media reports noting a major error by a former Governor running against an incumbent Republican in an important Senate race for Democrats. The important thing about the link isn't the commentary, but whether their claim about what he said is accurate.

I guess that's what happens when we're so used to unarmed black men being shot dead by cops. To be fair. Oh, I'm sorry, were you just trying to take a cheap shot at Hickenlooper?

It's more about recognizing that people we presumably hold to much higher standards than message board posters have also made the same error.

I see what you are referring to now, and this is the forst time I have heard about it. Then again, I don't follow much Right wing Social Media usually.

My first thought to counter that is, 'Someone enters a nightclub with a semi-automatic weapon and starts shooting randomly through the crowd. Just because some survive does it mean that the shooter isn't a murder?'

Thinking about it in pretty basic "Nuts And Bolts..." terms, it would seem like there is a sort of plausible version of it where...

- Lady gets downwind of that that her husband had a long term affair with a woman.
- There was not a really good "If Husband Cheats On Wife..." clause in the prenup she signed before getting married.
- She sees that her husband having his wife divorce him after becoming the first lady would be a legitimate issue for said cheating husband.
- She sees the position that this puts her in, and decides to renegotiate accordingly.

How it would seem to folks on the outside looking in? Largely a non-issue. No?
