Go back and read the rest of my post. The answer to your questions is there. People who want the government to accomplish things have to vote for the politicians who want to do those things. Complaining at every opportunity about how Democratic politicians can't get things done makes people not vote for Democrats then Republicans win and things don't get done.

You are talking about a party who is only now talking about Congress not being able to own stock while in office because Pelosi realized that it will cost her.

Eighty percent of Dems and Republicans are against it, and she was going to bat for it.

Again, stop looking for a complicated reason why folks don't want to vote for them when the actual reason why is looking you in the face.

No, I said specifically he's a noted transphobe, and that a transphobe's politics frequently will suck in a lot of other ways, not that his transphobia *caused* this. Chapelle's 'concerns' remain awfully NIMBY sounding, and I'll point out that it was only the affordable housing that got axed and he seems surprisingly fine with that.

To go with the metaphor, you're not climbing Everest. You're doing your best to determine who could climb it.

Trump knew enough to run as a Republican, so he already had Sherpas to carry him up the mountain. If he had run as an Independent or as a Green Party candidate, he never would have come close to winning.

It's usually only used for websites that deal with things like the Stock Exchange, or commodities exchanges, and so on. There isn't anything technically wrong in other websites using it, but it is a little odd.

It's a tried and true fake news and malware tactic: it's basically impossible to get a respectable sounding website name with one of the old fashioned domains, as they have been taken for decades. But you can probably sill get newyorktimes dot apartments (yes - dot apartments is now a domain). People just read the first part of the website URL and think it is legit.

The thing about "Democrats aren't doing anything" BS is we know it's because of two obstructionist Senators. If the good voters of this country, which polls show support the Biden agenda by 2 to 1, had elected a few more Democrats to the Senate, most of what they wanted to do would get done. Of course Mitch and the GOP, who we are told are exactly the same as the Dems, would do whatever they could to not allow anything to happen.

Now if you will only vote for Democats if they follow the Green Party agenda, you're in for disappointment.

I ask this same question every time someone says Biden stoke the election. I have yet to b et an answer that doesn't dismiss it entirely.
