You are talking about a party who is only now talking about Congress not being able to own stock while in office because Pelosi realized that it will cost her.

Eighty percent of Dems and Republicans are against it, and she was going to bat for it.

Again, stop looking for a complicated reason why folks don't want to vote for them when the actual reason why is looking you in the face.

White House urges Americans to leave Ukraine within 48 hours due to Russian threat
    https://www.kcra.com/article/white-h...hreat/39048960

Earlier Friday, National security adviser Jake Sullivan warned a Russian assault on Ukraine could begin soon, including with bombs and missiles. He advised all Americans to depart the country for their own safety.

"Any American in Ukraine should leave as soon as possible, and in any event in the next 24 to 48 hours," Sullivan said. "We obviously cannot predict the future, we don't know exactly what is going to happen. But the risk is now high enough and the threat is now immediate enough that this is what prudence demands."

I think you need to read the article.
Do you really think this is about transphobia? Does objecting to his views on trans issues mean that he's wrong about the need to build a school before rezoning 53 acres?

He may very well be in the wrong, though sorting this out requires familiarity with the minutiae of local Ohio politics, to determine if opposition to a council's plans is legitimate.

No, I said specifically he's a noted transphobe, and that a transphobe's politics frequently will suck in a lot of other ways, not that his transphobia *caused* this. Chapelle's 'concerns' remain awfully NIMBY sounding, and I'll point out that it was only the affordable housing that got axed and he seems surprisingly fine with that.

    er.
Your argument should have applied to Donald Trump who climbed Mount Everest (White House) instead of going for a smaller mountain like running for a lesser office such as senator or governor. He ran for President without previous experience and won.

That's because racism did all the heavy lifting.

To go with the metaphor, you're not climbing Everest. You're doing your best to determine who could climb it.

The major parties tend to have candidates who have climbed other mountains, while that's often not the case with greens and libertarians, who tend to pick people to climb mountains who haven't proven they can go up a hill yet.
That is true. Every major Presidential candidate at least before Trump has held a previous government office before running for presidency. They were wise enough to first start climbing a small hill (running for a lesser office). To reach for the top without getting firsthand experience in the government, the orange buffoon was not wise, but he is rich and had dumb luck.

Trump knew enough to run as a Republican, so he already had Sherpas to carry him up the mountain. If he had run as an Independent or as a Green Party candidate, he never would have come close to winning.

One other thing about Dems and what gets done versus what is not a priority until someone from the press has to figuratively light this administration's hair on fire?

Free Covid testing kits for every household in America?

Apparently nowhere near the "To Do..." list until these dunces were all but shamed into it.

    Rahm getting an administration job?

That didn't seem to have any trouble getting a cozy spot right up there on said "To Do..." list.

    Again...

If the party in question lack the sort of support to win elections and maybe get things done?

It is because people have seen that the above is exactly what you will do when they back you.

It's a tried and true fake news and malware tactic: it's basically impossible to get a respectable sounding website name with one of the old fashioned domains, as they have been taken for decades. But you can probably sill get newyorktimes dot apartments (yes - dot apartments is now a domain). People just read the first part of the website URL and think it is legit.

It is so weird that, if the election indeed was stolen for Biden, they did not steal the Senate, too. I mean, how could they forget??

I ask this same question every time someone says Biden stoke the election. I have yet to b et an answer that doesn't dismiss it entirely.
