I lived in Philadelphia when my wife was finishing her Fellowship. Its a cesspool of crime in many parts. I felt far safer when I saw officers nearby for obvious reasons.

As for Maxine Waters, California is even worse. My friend just got back from San Francisco. He was told not to rent a car because it'll get car jacked. Also when he went into a CVS there was somebody in there casually shoplifting, the security guard told him to stop but the shoplifter didn't and he casually walked out.

I'd rather live in a safe neighborhood where I'm ok letting my kid play outside and not fearing for our safety 24/7
For me it is about holding the police accountable when they ruin lives. The cozy relationship between police and prosecutors, qualified immunity, the blue line of silence, and civil forfeiture laws make the police seem little better than the criminals they are supposed to protect us from in the eyes of a lot of people.

Hold them accountable, eliminate the worst abuses, and most problems that exist between the police and the citizenry go away.

Would we be seeing a united Europe like we are right now with a PM Geert Wilders in the Netherlands and a Présidente Marine LePen in France? I doubt it.

Kshama Sawant from making regular guest appearances on RT to promote her political agenda, going back to 2013 during her first run for Seattle City Council. As an avowed socialist and opponent of establishment politics, Sawant fits RT’s guest profile perfectly. Most recently, on June 15th, she appeared to discuss how “Amazon has beaten down the city of Seattle” in the council’s recent repeal of the head tax, of which she was the leading advocate. Sawant doesn’t mention any of the controversy
One just has the lift up the rug in many a major city to find the kooky critters. The MSM however isn't there to expose the SJWs crazy is all.

Biden's approval ratings are reaching trump territory. I'm sure this will impact the dems on the upcoming elections.

Can you please illustrate to me how it looks in your area, do people realize how catastrophic this is and how much worse it can still get? I am sking here, because this forum and one other is where I usually get to talk to people from around the world and the other one does not allow political discussions. I have seen people reacting on twitter and providing all kinds of support, but I know that twitter is not exactly a picture of the real world.
Maybe it's because our governments have ALL normalized letting thousands of people die every week, for months, during the pandemic, so hearing about hundreds of people dying just feels like a Tuesday now?
I know, it's very cynical. But it's a thousand needles.

How will the GOP defend its pro-Putin years? How will McConnell and Rick Scott ever make up? How can anyone look at Rick Scott's "Let's not just say the quiet parts out loud, let's PUT THEM IN WRITING" platform and still vote for the GOP? How will the GOP fare with Putin's troll army otherwise occupied?

    Stay tuned.

That you have to go to a city councilor as your evidence that both sides are as bad is laughable.

No, @joebiden, we don’t “all agree.”
We still say #DefundThePolice and hold killer cops accountable.

As soon as President Biden said 'Fund the police', I knew there would be people that would get angry. Despite what he was saying made absolute sense.

LOL Brexit was Putin's doing? Yet he couldn't win over a Ukrainian majority through what social media and disinfo?

Are you trying to say something? English is not my first language, so this might be on me. But it looks just like random words to me.

It made sense because it was like a pencil tracing of Trump's MAGA but only in the outlines not the details.

While I am concerned about what is happening in the Ukraine, I'm honestly more concerned what's going on in America right now. Specifically Texas.

I don't disagree with that for a second.

But when I see so much crime in specific locations...the police problem has to be a tiny fraction of the cause compared to more obvious reasons if you're talking about lives ruined.
