The decision is expected in June, I hope the answer is a yes, but of course it's still not a given, because some people care more about money than principles.
My predictions for countries that will be against Ukraine's membership: Germany, Austria, possibly also Hungary, France or Netherlands. I hope I'm wrong, of course, but I tend to have more of a pessimistic outlook, and lately it's more and more often the correct one.

Macon won, he beat Le Penn in the French Elections.

Oh, and Austria doesn't want Ukraine in the EU.

In 2020, Bruce left a cryptic Facebook comment that included a fire emoji and the date of his death, 4/22/2022.
Did any of you hear about this? Because I sure didn't.

Well that's a relief; some good news is always welcome.

A centre right candidate gets 58 percent of the vote, with the far right candidate getting 42 percent of the vote (an increase on last time round, in spite of a clear association with Putin).

You really think that’s a good result?

    Good result?

Best possible result under the circumstances? I'd say so.

As long as one side remains utterly insane, 'least worst' is sadly the best result we can hope for.

It’s a possibility. Best not to take any chances.
