To say that racism had nothing to do with the Electoral College is one of the reasons Critical Race Theory is needed in the study of History.
The thing that blows my mind about CRT, is that it's an elective college course. The GOP has misrepresented it to the public so badly, that reactionary parents actually believed it was being taught in middle-school and High School. It's such an obvious lie too and can be proven with a three second google search, but some of these guys are building a career off of it. It's nuts.

Rufo is pretty open about what he's doing and so far it's working for a certain animated section of reactionary white conservatives, and the more squishy types.

This has been building , people have shared clips of small time comedians being verbally harassed and threatened. One man had to walk off from doing his set as a woman went off on him. (no idea what the joke was she clearly took offense).

The guy likely needs therapy if he's gonna serve time. If you don't like a comedian , turn the channel and don't go to the show. (people have said somehow he was in the 3rd row watching it)

The Atlanta-Journal Constitution looks at Hershell Walker's mental health struggles, as a prominent candidate open about suffering through dissociative identity disorder.

    https://www.ajc.com/politics/a-contr...MCJK46REA4HNU/

This is an awkward political milestone.

It's also the type of stuff that's no nuts you wouldn't believe it in a work of fiction.

Mungadze worked with Walker over the next weeks, then handed down a diagnosis: dissociative identity disorder.

Walker said he had 12 alternate personalities — or alters — including the warrior (who played football), the sentry (who avoided emotional attachments) and the thrill seeker (who played Russian roulette with a loaded gun).

I remember Walker discussing his "warrior" personality. During a Football Life he detailed how he was bullied as a kid and turned to football. So he basically shed that identity of old Hershel and became "the warrior". Like he literally became Batman and that became his identity as he trained like crazy ...all the time.

Every diagnosis of DID is incredibly controversial and it does not seem to have a huge amount of scientific acceptance despite its place in the public imagination and in the DSM.

I'm not a scientist or mental health professional, so I try not to engage too closely on the subject. Walker's mental issues shouldn't prohibit him from having a political career if he can win one, but his violence should. Mental health struggles and violence do not go hand in hand the way media says.

It’s pretty crazy to be honest.

And it’s amazing how easily the GOP base gets sold on nonsense.

The guys talking about teaching CRT in schools know it’s not true, it’s just to get votes from the GOP base which is filled to the brim with racists and bigots.

It's so they can do this:

    https://www.statesman.com/story/news...en/9652463002/

Gov. Greg Abbott said Wednesday that Texas would consider challenging a 1982 U.S. Supreme Court decision requiring states to offer free public education to all children, including those of undocumented immigrants.

"Texas already long ago sued the federal government about having to incur the costs of the education program, in a case called Plyler versus Doe," Abbott said, speaking during an appearance on the Joe Pags show, a conservative radio talk show. "And the Supreme Court ruled against us on the issue. ... I think we will resurrect that case and challenge this issue again, because the expenses are extraordinary and the times are different than when Plyler versus Doe was issued many decades ago."

The remarks came days after a leaked draft of a forthcoming U.S. Supreme Court opinion revealed that a majority of justices are poised to revoke Roe v. Wade, the landmark case establishing the right to abortion.
Ending public education is a long-term dream of the conservative fringe. After all, they love the poorly educated

This is the guy who is running for Georgia's US Senate seat with the approval of his equally unhinged orange buffoon master? Their relationship has been going a long way since Herschel used to play for New Jersey Generals which Trump owned.

If a deranged, dim-witted, irrational and paranoid psychopath can win the the presidential election even though he's lost the popular vote, then Herschel Walker would have no problem with the seat unless the Georgian Republicans don't want a black senator even with his beloved master's endorsement.

Members of the GOP have been happy to vote for black politicians, but only those black politicians serve largely as ways for the conservatives to try to deflect from their support for racist policies. It's why we have Tim Scott. It's a structure for granting themselves permission.

True, Herschel Walker is not the only Black GOP candidate in this election. He is not the only Trump endorsed Black candidate either.

There are other Black candidates Trump endorsed.

Vernon Jones- another Georgian and ex-Democrat.

“The United States has a lot of political clout. And Biden could have avoided war, not incited it,” he said. “Biden could have taken a plane to Moscow to talk to Putin. This is the kind of attitude you expect from a leader.”

The US and EU could have avoided the invasion by stating that Ukraine would not join Nato, he said.

“Putin shouldn’t have invaded Ukraine. But it’s not just Putin who is guilty. The US and the EU are also guilty,” Lula said
    Ain't he charming?
How many times the president Macron has talked to Putin before the invasion of Ukraine to avoid it? Would have Biden made a difference? Putin is confined in his ideology.

And, considering all the nations that want to join the NATO now, Putin has failed in his strategy.
“Strength is the lot of but a few privileged men; but austere perseverance, harsh and continuous, may be employed by the smallest of us and rarely fails of its purpose, for its silent power grows irresistibly greater with time.” Goethe

    And what's Putin's ideology?

So NATO is the winner? Hm, but they aren't behind the whole thing? it's just a consequence of Putin's bad planning. And Nuland being there from the start (2013) talking about what candidate they wanted as President... also completely unrelated, right?

Anyone sharing Putin's talking points already tells you everything you need to know about their opinions and regarded or disregarded as such, is a current favorite rule of discourse I feel needs to be utilized by more people.
