Trump is already on record calling Bolton's book nothing but lies. If that's the case, why should Spongedon Whinepants care about sundry falsehoods and prevarications in a tell-all from a disgruntled former employee....unless of course the REAL concern is over how horribad he comes off looking, and, as we've all seen, Trump is obsessed about his image.

I'm certain he's had his lawyers going over the NDA's of every employee in the west wing in an attempt to kill future book deals.

The Trump administration is still attempting to block the distribution of Boltons book on security grounds despite it already passing review by the military and intelligence services.
Basically, they're trying to blow out the match after their house is already burning.

When the book is out, Bolton ought to challenge Trump to identify the classified material

If he chooses his Image, then don't be surprised if he has a Friday Night Massacre with a twist, where Trump himself is the one who leaves, where he just packs up his bags and tells everyone he's leaving, quitting for good. He might think he can find someplace that would 'Love Him', maybe like Russia or China (in his twisted dreams).

If he loses the election, his image is shot forever. If he quits and runs away, it would be his usual M.O.
