It’s not just about crimes as we focused on before (but also about crimes), it’s about recognizing the creation of parallel, segregated societies in much of Europe - which is ironically the main fuel for right-wing parties and their growth in several European countries the past few years, where before the right-wing in Europe was basically a fringe joke.
Brushing this aside, of considering “that’s just xenophobia” is ignorant and doesn’t solve the problem. There’s a reason why the Paris terrorists were born in France/ Belgium, they weren’t immigrants.

The bill is far from perfect, but is estimated to double the rate of switchover from fossil fuels from before the bill takes effect, even with the new drilling it allows. We shouldn't allow perfect to become the enemy of improvement. Channel that energy into fighting for the next improvement instead.

Many of realize that more is needed. That the original BBB legislation would have been superior. But we are aware that this has to be done with a 50/50 Senate with zero GOP support and two recalcitrant Senators. We will take the win and keep moving forward.
Who knows, the American voters may wake up and give us a couple of more Dem Senators so that we don't have to compromise as much. GOP Talking points on the Trump raid and classified documents.
He never had them.
He had them but didnt know he had them because his staff packed up his offices.
