CaptainEurope, we were talking before about islam/ muslims in Europe and I mentioned that obviously I know less about Germany than you do, but I think you’re aware that even Angela Merkel remarked that multiculturalism and integration has failed in Germany (too) - and she’s remarked this on more than one occasion:
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...ism-is-a-sham/
“The speech that followed, however, may have surprised supporters of her policies: "Multiculturalism leads to parallel societies and therefore remains a ‘life lie,’ ” or a sham, she said”
It’s not just about crimes as we focused on before (but also about crimes), it’s about recognizing the creation of parallel, segregated societies in much of Europe - which is ironically the main fuel for right-wing parties and their growth in several European countries the past few years, where before the right-wing in Europe was basically a fringe joke.
Brushing this aside, of considering “that’s just xenophobia” is ignorant and doesn’t solve the problem. There’s a reason why the Paris terrorists were born in France/ Belgium, they weren’t immigrants.
