I just read that, and if President Trump is telling the truth and not just grandstanding to egg on his supporters then some seriously unprecedented shit is about to go down. There's no way in hell the FBI would be authorized to seize his passports unless they had him 1,000,000% dead to rights with zero room for equivocation. So either President Trump is just trying to stir the pot ... or he f@#$ed-up bigly.

I'm not dancing yet because I wouldn't put it past him to lie about what the FBI took in the raid, but man it does give me a little hope.

The #1 issue Republicans are talking about is "protect Donald Trump from prosecution at all costs".

That's the extent he has the GOP hostage. They can't talk about banning abortion, or fighting against gun control, they're paralyzed to where they're a one-issue party, and he is that issue.

They don't need to talk about abortion or gun control. Trump got them a super-majority on the Supreme Court to get what they want on those issues.

One of them may have been his Government (as in, agent of govt) passport, which should have been turned in when he left the Presidency.

I know I’m a bit late to this party, but, as others have already said, it WOULD be a bad thing if Trump fled. He absolutely CANNOT be allowed to get away with his crimes, he needs to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, imprisoned even, if but for no other reason than to make Trump an example for the next asshole Qpublican who attempts the commit the same crimes Trump did while in office, or out.

While I would definitely prefer him to be prosecuted and convicted in a court of law...it would be funny if he flew the coup. I mean, can you imagine how long it would be before he wore his welcome in say Russia, China or Saudi Arabia and they were begging for us to extradite him back?

I admitted to her I have no idea what the real story is right now. No one really does other then the DOJ and Trump. But it makes it damn sure hard to take a side at their word when their story changes so much in the last week.

Didnt have them, had them because his staff packed them and he didnt know, back to didnt have them, then to FBI planted them, back to he didnt have them, to He had them but all Presidents take stuff so its okay. Back to he didnt have them. To he did but they were locked up. back to he didnt have them. Then he had them but they took them back in June, back to he didnt have them. Now he had them but they were declassified.

That is 13 times in one week, Trump. Trumps team, Fox News, Etc.. have changed the story on the raid. So even if I wanted to believe Trump's Story. Which story do I beleieve?

I also asked her if he did declassify them like they claim (Sometimes claim) Where is the paper work? Where is the proof? of course they destroyed it to make Trump look bad. I asked why a man who is so sure that everything is a plot against him and everyone is out to get him, why didnt he keep a copy? of course the FBI took that in the raid. I asked if they planted it and then took it. She got mad and left with her dog. Which makes me sad because I do love her little dog

If people want to back their guy thats fine. But for the love of god be smart about it. Dont change the story 13 times and then call it a plot and we are all blind when we dont believe one of the 13 stories. There are people out there that run with many versions. They will talk about how he never had them, Declassified them, FBI planted them, And about how this is his staffs fault because he never knew he had them.

I am half way more upset at the stupidity as much as the crime itself.
