That is gross. He sent a videographer likely for campaign footage and propaganda reels. How much you want to bet they wont show all the residents who even unprepared broke into action preparing shelter and getting food for the hungry people. Who had no idea they were being shipped there for stunts. And locals were not told in advance obviously so they could prepare beforehand.

I see many tweets from residents showing them preparing in haste and feeding and getting beds made. I'm betting none of that will be in propaganda reels. Just glee that DeSantis is owning the libs

I heard that Greg Abbott sent two busloads of immigrants to Vice-President Harris’ home in Washington. More human trafficking, probably on the taxpayers’ dime as a cold and callous political stunt. I know DOJ is busy with Trump, but someone from there has to tell Abbott and DeSantis to fucking stop.

To embarrass Northern liberals and humiliate Black people, southern White Citizens Councils started their so-called "Reverse Freedom Rides," giving Black people one-way tickets to northern cities with false promises of jobs, housing, and better lives.

The Kennedy White House received mail from leaders in the targeted states, asking the federal government to intervene in the “cruel merciless hoax” and “their traffic in human lives and misery.”

JFK Library is on it today tweeting out the eerily similar history lesson.

And the GOP embraced these southerns with open arms after LBJ passed the Civil Rights movement. So they playbook was lying around for the next generation of white nationalists, now Southerners in the GOP, to do the same. Same song, same rhythm section, but in the GOP band rather than the old pre-1960s Democratic one.

This is of course, the same party of family values that separated thousands of children from their parents at the border and kept no records so they could be reunited later.

Yeah, I don't think a New York attorney general running for reelection is making decisions about Trump because she's worried about November.

YEAH, it must not be a big deal if people didn't discuss it while they slept overnight in the states!

I understand Republicans only celebrate bad news so they have something to complain about, Mets, but come on.
The potential for a strike had been known for a while.

The complaint here seems to be that the GOP and the media had been making a big deal about it, and has spent a lot of time warning people about the potential rail apocalypse.

If you didn't hear about it until last night, it suggests this wasn't something that was covered much by the media. It becomes another example of people on the left making up something to complain about.
    Sincerely,

The reverse freedom rides were an abuse of citizens.

This is essentially about treatment of trespassers.

From a taxpayer perspective, it seems cheaper to send them elsewhere than to house them and provide services.

From the conservative perspective, there's a relatively easy solution of deporting people who cross the border illegally and the left is failing to enforce the laws, and subverting those through policies like sanctuary cities.

There's a moral argument for open borders, although this is not something Democrats will often say.

This does not seem like a wise fight for Democrats. It looks like the left failing to live up to their own rhetoric on undocumented immigrants, while making it harder for border conservatives to enforce existing laws.

Informed policymakers recognize that they're not citizens and won't be able to vote.

In New York, they keep track of voter registration info, so if there were a wave of undocumented immigrants successfully registering to vote, there would be significant evidence of it.

It's a stunt, pure and simple and it has nothing to do with saving the taxpayers in their state from the "burden" of these immigrants. And that human beings are being used as just props like this? It's not a great look.

    it.
From a human perspective it’s degrading to the people involved and irresponsible of state leaders who’ve been elected to represent the interests of all their constituents, not just the anti-immigration conservatives.
If these Governors are truly interested in enforcing the laws and regulations concerning illegal immigration and keeping the borders secure does it make sense to transport hundreds of these illegals hundreds of miles further into the country? Wouldn’t the money to do so be better spent on border security to keep them out in the first place?

No the complaint is after all the sturm and drang about the coming rail apocalypse, will we see the same amount of praise for Biden from these quarters (and I am looking at those Rebpublicans who only complain about Biden). It's another example of the Right not being able to give Biden his due.

New Hampshire GOP candidate does 180 after primary, says election wasn’t stolen

New Hampshire Republican Senate nominee Don Bolduc on Thursday said the 2020 presidential election was not stolen, reversing course after claiming during his primary that former President Trump won.

During an appearance on Fox News’s “America’s Newsroom,” host Dana Perino asked Bolduc if he still stood by a letter he signed with 123 other retired generals and admirals casting doubt on the election.
“I’ve spent the past couple of weeks talking to Granite Staters all over the state, from every party, and I have come to the conclusion — and I want to be definitive on this — the election was not stolen,” Bolduc said.

“Was there fraud? Yes.” he continued. “Is that a concern of Granite Staters all over the state? Yes. Is there a responsibility for public servants in elected positions to ensure that our citizens have faith in their voting system? Yes.”

As recently as August, Bolduc said he stood by the unfounded claim that Trump won the presidency in 2020.

Appeal to the Trumpers by yelling about a stolen election and Fraud. Then reverse course after her wins so that he can not seem batshit crazy and appeal to the mid line people.

Hope to get voted in no looking crazy then reverse course and go back to being crazy because that seems to be what the gop Does.

I hope he stays with the Election was not stolen and that he really beleives that. But the cynic in me has my doubts.
