But isn't that what some of the Progressive Democrats asked for? And they were slammed for it and later retracted

The White House has stated they are not against peace talks, just that Ukraine should be in charge of its own negotiating. They must determine how and when.

By the way, Babyblob, when I'm saying that it's very easy to judge from afar regarding Uvalde, I'm also referring to this - this more recent investigation by the New York Times:

    https://www.nytimes.com/2022/10/12/u...stigation.html
    https://www.thedailybeast.com/video-...amed-for-delay

"New frame-by-frame video analysis of the shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, suggests officials’ narrative that a 77-minute police delay was caused singularly by the inaction of a school police chief isn’t quite accurate. The footage makes clear that the Texas Department of Public Safety “miscast” Uvalde School Police Chief Pete Arredondo’s role, suggesting the failures of that day were caused solely by his orders for the officers to stand down while they waited for back-up, The New York Times reports. But others, including DPS troopers and the feds, also played a role in those decisions and were calling the shots earlier than has been suggested. The new video evidence, scrutinized by the Times, indicates that an elite border patrol group, BORTAC, took over the response about halfway through, and repeated many of the same mistakes that the incident commander was grilled over—losing 37 minutes before entering the room. According to radio traffic, BORTAC learned immediately that the gunman was trapped inside Room 111 and Room 112 with a number of children. But instead of engaging the situation, officers are seen wasting precious minutes, sorting through a pile of keys to unlock a janitors closet, while others test out breaching tools to knock the door down before prioritizing officers lives over entering the room. The May 24 shooting was one of the deadliest in the nation’s history, claiming the lives of 19 children and two adults, and injuring another 18."

I get that there was a failure from the leadership. I am just not going to try to hard to defend 2 dozen or so heavy armed and armored trained men that stood in a hallway and listened to children be murdered.

He will never ever recover from this. Not that he will be poor. But, what big name brands will take a chance on him again after this? This was just the most egregious and costly string of outbursts. It costs Adidas nearly 250 million to break ties. Who will ever take that chance again?

He can apologize and say it was the meds all he wants. But, it wasn't like this is a one time slip up. He even turned down the Holocausts Museums offer for a tour and showing him why what he said was offensive and what it could lead too.

That's like step one in the eventual PR recovery. And not only did he turn them down but his refusal led to increased hate towards the museum.

Recover to where he was? No I agree he wont do that. I dont see many companies taking him on. Shoe deals and all that jazz. But there are still soooo many people defending him including a lot of his fans. So while he may not have shoe deals and such I think in a couple years he can find another record label or just do it on his own and drop another album and it will see well. I think at some point he will do his "Dont blame me I am bipolar and didnt mean/understand/wasnt responsible for what I said and there will be many that forgive him because they are defending him already.

But people should know he is on the wrong side when Fox news is upset at Cancel Culture hitting Kanye so hard.

New Insider Advantage poll has Oz +3 over Fetterman. The previous poll from them had the race as a tie and the one before that had Fetterman +3.

Not sure how much of this is because of the debate but Fetterman was a disaster, due to unfortunate reasons.

The same poll has Shapiro +8 over Mastriano.

The idiot not only turned down that offer, he went and called Planned Parenthood the real Holocaust Museum. At this point, it’s not the meds or whatever bad wiring in his head that’s making West say all that stupid shit, he’s simply showing his true colors, that of a right wing scumbag who fits in just fine with the filth who worships Trump and stormed the Capitol on 1/6.

Pretty much. There are tons of corporate sponsors out there who don't care about right wing ideals. But anti-semitic is racism narrows that group significantly. Dollars over dumbness, you know.
