Oh look, an attempt to get people killed disguised as "religious freedom" in Montana.

A bill that would allow medical institutions, providers and other health care employees to deny services based on their “ethical, moral, or religious beliefs or principles” was the subject of intense debate Monday during an initial committee hearing, setting up a conflict over rights of providers and patients.

Despite its late scheduling Friday afternoon, which upset House Democrats, House Bill 303 received more than two hours of testimony from 10 proponents and 22 opponents speaking to lawmakers on the House Judiciary Committee.

The bill, sponsored by Rep. Amy Regier, R-Kalispell, drew support from individual Montana health care providers and the conservative religious groups Alliance Defending Freedom, the Montana Family Foundation and the Montana Catholic Conference. If adopted, proponents said, the bill protects freedom of speech and religion when medical providers have an objection to providing certain services, including abortion and gender-affirming health care for transgender patients.

Former President Donald Trump escalated his attacks on Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis Tuesday, seizing on a story that his rival for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination partied with underage students when he worked as a teacher at a Georgia high school.

In five successive posts Tuesday to his social media site, Truth Social, Trump went after DeSantis. Two of them referenced a story published by the far-right website Hillreporter.com that claimed DeSantis had been photographed "partying with underaged students" at the Darlington School, a private K-12 school in Rome, Ga., where DeSantis taught from 2001-02.

Trump reposted a photograph originally posted by a Truth Social member who goes by the handle Dong-Chan Lee, and who uses a profile photo of the alt-right meme Pepe the Frog, featuring Trump's signature hairdo. The image showed what appeared to be DeSantis flanked by three young women that had been captioned, "Here is Ron DeSanctimonious grooming high school girls with alcohol as a teacher.

Trump, who so far is the only Republican to have formally declared himself a candidate for the 2024 presidential election, added his own commentary to go with the photo. "That’s not Ron, is it?" Trump wrote. "He would never do such a thing!"

In another repost, Trump added more sarcastic commentary, writing "No way?" when highlighting further commentary from the same Truth Social user who posted the photo of DeSantis.

"Ron DeSantis was having a 'drink' party with his students when he was a high school teacher. Having drinks with underage girls and cuddling with them certainly look [sic] pretty gross and ephebophiliaesque," Trump posted."

God only knows. If anything, the guy in the pic looks more like a younger Trump than DeSantis, and those pixelated women appear older than high schoolers. Still, if Caramel Caligula and Wretched Ronnie are at each other’s throats, then I’m all for it.

- According to reports Mitt Romney was near George Santos. Romney its claimed told him he's a total embarrassment and doesn't deserve to be in congress ! Then walked off.

Santos it's said told a reporter that Romney is a total a---hole.

Biden walked by and basically gave Santos the cold shoulder as well. Not shaking his hand or talking to him.

There have been interviews with his former students that say, "Yes, he inappropriately was at parties with alcohol with underage students".

Trump's going to exaggerate that story, and by that I mean lie to twist it to his advantage, but there's some truth there.
