Look at all the clowns we have in this country that spit on staff at stores that require customers wear a mask, or the crazies that will shoot up a McDonalds because they can't stuff their faces inside the dining area. Or the would be Nazi storm troopers who show up armed to the teeth at the state capitol building in Michigan. There are a frightening number of them out there and that is his base.

Josh Marshall is pointing out that its not inconceivable that this payback for Burr's relatively legitimate roll in the Senate's russia probe. That is, it's allowed to go forward as retribution.

If the President Tests Positive for the Virus, What Happens?

Oooooh boy, I don't want even imagine what would happen. I fear almost a civil war with Trump's stubborn loyalists if Pelosi would somehow take over if both Trump and Pence were to become unavailable.

I'd like to think that, if both Trump and Pence were to get sever cases and had to be put on respirators, even Congress and the Senate would recognize the fact that they are unable to perform their duties and pass the Presidency onto the Speaker. Then again, when has Moscow Mitch and the Trumpublicans ever cared about the law?
