I tired it and it called me a Conservative.

Called me an anarchist because I thought corporate killers were scary.

These polls have weird logic. I was called a Communist in one poll even though my decisions heavily favored reformism (where you believe changes works best through voting and legislature rather than force and protesting) and internationalism (which favors working with other nations instead of your own interests), and those aren't popular on Commie platforms.

What you are talking about has everything to do with that politicians are largely bought and paid for in the States and almost nothing to do with the political views of John/Jane Public.

Two completely different things.

Take just marijuana legalization at the Federal level.

Do you honestly buy into that policy thus far actually reflects the will of the average American citizen?

But we’re not talking about the will of the average citizen, we’re (or I am) talking about the will of all citizens. When it comes to the crunch, Americans don’t want these liberal ideas to become law.

Legalize marijuana. Sweet. Now are you going to release every minority American who was arrested and jailed in relation to possessing or using marijuana? Or are Americans going to worried about being “soft on crime” and losing the already-lost War on Drugs?

I think it’s really mischievous to single out one social issue and use it to define the mindset of a country. Because if you’re not economically and financially progressive then what’s the point? You can have all the liberal drug laws in the world but if the minimum wage is set appallingly below the poverty line and someone can’t actually earn enough money to eat food or stay alive, what is the point?

And he's letting it touch the ground.

But you have to remember, kneeling for the cause of racial justice and refusing to say the Pledge is evil but putting the flag on a towel, throwing it on the ground and standing and sitting on it, turning it into a swim suit and shoving it between someone's ass cheeks, putting it on a plate and slopping food on top of it or turning it into a napkin and wiping your mouth on it is just fine- as long as you aren't doing it for a meaningful reason.
