You’re ignoring the points others have made.

Cenk, Maher and Chomsky have all said problematic things over time, so they have personal reasons to speak out against people holding them to account for their unguarded statements. Just because an individual claims to be liberal doesn’t mean they can’t be problematic. Cenk and Maher in particular have been very problematic in the past so they aren’t coming in objective on this stuff. It’s like JK Rowling screaming against cancel culture when she herself has been proven to be somewhat of a transphobe.

And most importantly, none of these guys have lost their sources of livelihood after being “cancelled”. Compare that to Dixie Chicks or Colin Kapernick that have been permanently damaged. Even very recently, Kathy Griffin was pretty much cancelled for holding a fake severed head of Donald Trump.

This isn’t a “woke left thing” and I’d strongly advice you don’t get information from sites that use terms like “sjw” very often, they are often alt-right or alt-lite media and are quite dishonest. The facts are out there for everyone to see and make judgement.

A well known white nationalist group. So basically the Trump people went to start trouble and someone got killed.
