They're conspiracy theorists. They're also wrong, and crazy. Covid is a 5G coverup. The vaccine is for Bill Gates microchips. Etc etc ad nauseam.

The thing about Trump supporters is that they don't really support Trump. They support their idea of what they think Trump is. So no amount of evidence of the reality of Trump will change their minds.

    Quoted for truth.

I actually wanted to mention this earlier.

It's not that they believe or don't believe every allegation against Trump but they firmly believe in the "idea of Trump".

How's that adage go? Trump is a poor man’s idea of a rich man, a stupid man’s idea of a smart man, and a weak man’s idea of a strong man. To disenfranchised whites, what they see in Trump is a blue collar champion in a fancy suit who's destined to lift them up from the melting pot of races, cultures and religions America's become, and put them back atop the societal food chain where they rightfully feel they belong, lording over minorities, women and gays like back in the good old days. But, to paraphrase what Howard Stern said, Trump doesn't give a **** about them, those foolish idiots are nothing more than a means to an end, that being to win a second term and avoid prison.

QAnon in very simple terms is the biggest troll job in history.

A while back, I spoke about the "4chan effect on society"- Qanon basically came out from there. 4chan is the source of a lot of "online" mischief from gamergate to comicsgate to the alt-right to qanon.

Sounds like the dark underside of the philosophy presented in Chris Nolan’s Batman canon.

I'm not entirely sure it would benefit his party right now.

Democrats are likely to make significant gains in state legislatures in the next election, which will put them in.a better position to be in charge of redistricting.

This could very well be about something else, such as making it tougher for Trump voters to impact the primary. A system where state legislatures decide on senators has many flaws (it is a system where state legislators select senators and those guys can be pretty dumb) but it does make it a little bit tougher for populists and candidates relying on the support of less informed voters.

It does make it easier for some others. Pennsylvania born Iowa lawyer turned railroad magnate William A. Clark bought himself a Senate seat from Montana by bribing the state legislature. His justification was "I never bought a man who wasn't for sale." He would go on to have a massive mansion in New York and stuff named after him in Nevada,

last night Hannity showed a video of Biden at a conference on Jan 28th telling people not to panic over covid. And a March interview where he said he would not order a national mask Mandate. Fox news has played this several times today. It seems like that is their answer to the just released audio of Trump downplaying Covid.

That could be the stupidest response I have seen. Trump lies because he thinks there will be panic. Biden tries to calm fears and says don't panic, probably because he thought the pandemic plan he and Obama put in place would be put into effect.
Biden is reassuring Americans and obviously thinks a strong voice from a leader will help with people's fears. Trump doesn't trust the American people.

Take them seriously? There are two of them that won Republican primaries to become members of Congress. Republican voters are working to get them elected.

Lauren Boebert in Colorado, and Marjorie Taylor Greene in Georgia.
