The notes that are played are pretty messed up.

Ravnsborg’s office has said he immediately called 911 after the accident on a rural stretch of U.S. Highway 14 and did not realize he had hit a man until his body was found. The Department of Public Safety issued a statement Monday that said only that Ravnsborg told the Hyde County Sheriff’s Office that he had hit a deer and did not say whether he reported the crash in a 911 call.
    Sincerely,
    Thomas Mets

I’m just stunned. How in god’s name did we ever come to THIS level of madness?

Another deeply disturbed individual in a position of power. So scary. This is such a dark time for our country.

A reminder, Trump has filled most appointed positions into "acting roles" that never were approved by the Senate (or if they were, were put there with only Republican votes), who are all nut jobs like this. This is indicative of the Republican Party right now, until they stop letting him do whatever he wants.

Trump wont stop until he is stopped. And with Mitch running the show in the Senate that wont happen. Our best bet if he is Reelected is that Mitch loses in Ky. With Mitch gone maybe he can stop bullying some of the on the Fence Republicans into backing Trump and maybe, just maybe start to stand up to him.

I’ve said more than once that it’s just as important for Democrats to reclaim the Senate, if not moreso than the presidency. If Biden wins but Republicans retain the Senate, McConnell will continue being a human roadblock and nothing gets done, if Trump wins, but Dems retake the Senate, then he won’t get his way, perhaps he might even be impeached again, only this one could well stick.

And Dems are in serious talks to do away with the filibuster if they take the Senate -- which is good. McConnel can't be allowed to pull the same **** again.

This. Republicans have spent the last forty years telling us that government can't do anything right, and then they get into government to make it so.

Republicans seem to forget a famous quote from Ronald Reagan a.k.a. the "Conservative's Conservative"

"Government's first duty is to protect the people, not run their lives" -- Ronald Reagan

Most Americans, regardless of political affiliation couldn't tell the difference between Russian and American jets, or Russian and American guns, especially when they are silhouetted. It takes an expert to tell the difference by looking at the shape of the jet. Heck, I don't know a lot about jets and rifles.
