I think he was really banking on Barr’s investigation to energize his base. That was going to be his “lock her up” “emails” rallying cry. Now that the investigation turned up empty I really don’t think he has anything left. I’m sure he’ll desperately try to bring up Hunter Biden again and throw the word socialist around but there really doesn’t seem like there is anything he can pull out of his ass at the last moment. He doesn’t have Comey there to remind everyone of Hillary’s emails the week of the election. Trump will brag that his townhall ratings were higher but that’s not going to sway voters. I think his only hope (besides massive voter suppression) is making Biden look bad at the Oct 22 debate.
Fingers crossed that the surge of early voting continues all the way to Election Day.
I’m really going to miss having these guys on our side. They really know how to play dirty, which is exactly what was needed when facing Trump. I hope the democrats learned something from the Lincoln Project. Doubtful.

Yeah it’s a “the enemy of my enemy“ situation. If Trump loses I’m sure they’ll shake hands and part ways. They’ve been so valuable during this election because it’s allowed the Biden campaign to play it straight while the LP fights dirty.
I returned my ballot to the town clerk's office yesterday (or, to the ballot drop box there). I'm going to have a Republican "representing" me in the state assembly because he ran unopposed, but that's about it. Maybe one for Mayor although those races are non-partisan near me - I didn't mind voting for him since he has been doing daily COVID updates online for the last several months and has been taking it seriously (even before his bout with it). I'm not 100% sure of the actual laws in Nevada, but once you get below the state Senate and Assembly races everything is a non-partisan race, you need to do some digging to figure stuff out. Thankfully the Nevada Independent sent out questionnaires to all the judicial candidates and I was able to get some idea this time - I'm probably going to subscribe to the paper once the economy is a little more secure.
Dark does not mean deep.
I'm okay with this question being a proxy for whether I'm right on major political issues, or whether you, InformationGeek, JDogindy and WorstBlogEver are right.
My argument is that when a Republican Senator asked a nominee for Supreme Court "You're not aware of any effort to go back to the good old days of segregation by a legislative body, is that correct?" he is not actually expressing a preference for segregation, and referring to "the good old days of segregation" sarcastically.
If it's not meant to be sarcastic, what kind of response do you think he was trying to elicit from Amy Coney Barrett?
Sincerely,
Thomas Mets
Your vote for President matters the same in hardcore Republican county Ohio as it would in the most liberal district in the state. If he loses the state, which pretty much guarantees a loss in the electoral college, you'll be one of the votes that caused that to happen.
Sincerely,
Thomas Mets
Quiet the opposite, that one vote would push Biden forward with momentum it just wouldn't be enough to save the state for Biden. Non-voters sitting out the election in that state because Biden isn't perfect would be more responsible for that loss because he needed more votes to win.
Rudy Giuliani Is My Father. Please, Everyone, Vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
Wow I like her this was well written. I mean it can be tossed aside as "blah" who is she anyway by Trump supporters but, someone with a personal relationship explaining their inter family struggles to reason with their parent who they are diametrically opposed to politically is interesting. If being the daughter of a polarizing mayor who became the president’s personal bulldog has taught me anything, it is that corruption starts with “yes-men” and women, the cronies who create an echo chamber of lies and subservience to maintain their proximity to power. We’ve seen this ad nauseam with Trump and his cadre of high-level sycophants (the ones who weren’t convicted, anyway).
It has been disclosed that Las Vegas casino owner and winner of the Jabba the Hut lookalike contest Sheldon Adelson just contributed $75 million to Preserve America super pac that is a major funding sources to the Trump campaign.
I hope it comes up snake eyes for him
Well lets see we have had food pantries send out boxes of food with letters from Trump to the public. So they are already trying everything.
I just had to tell off a charity about them sending me stuff that says vote for Trump. I told them-"you don't ask for money and then send paper work endorsing someone. Because you claim the other guy and his boss didn't care for veterans. You get no money at time, have a good evening."
Now some would say I was harsh. No I was not. It would have been DIFFERENT if they explained what polices by Obama they didn't think were benefitting veterans. No it was Obama bashing.
