Among Disney toons i think Rescue Rangers had my second favorite theme. I loved it but even back then i prefered the ending credits.

For Superman TAS, they didn't do anything as clever as Batman TAS. They relied more on a montage playing over the music. So, imo it isn't as effective as Batman's. But it is still very good. Especially the music which is something similar to John Williams' theme but is its own entity. Loved it back then, when i used to hum the tune. I still like it very much.

I remember that i wasn't interested in watching the show. My sister watched it. But i thought it was too girly. But in the second season they showed the cub character transform into a lion with wings. This looks cool. I should check it out. The show turned out to be lots of fun.

Anyway good to see someone who watched Cardcaptors. When i posted the video i wasn't expecting any comment. I don't know how successful or well received it was. Should have done well enough to get an English opening.
Thanks. I really did enjoy watching Cardcaptors, but I understood where the critics were coming from. Many weren't too pleased with how those in charge handled Cardcaptors (for example: rearranging the episode order; cutting out certain scenes; relegating Sakura, while propping up Syaoran for the young male demographic in an effort to sell merchandise). When factoring in all these grievances, it's no wonder that purists prefer the original CCS over the Americanized version known as Cardcaptors.

And speaking of preferences for the original, I very much love the Japanese version of Mew Mew Power (A.K.A. Tokyo Mew Mew):

My parents used to watch this. I came across a rerun last week and was immediately struck by how the theme song is groovin'. Bass player is doing his or her thing. Heh.

It's hard to imagine Mission: Impossible lasting more than half a season except its intro is endlessly captivating

Agreed. The intro felt epic, in that Jack Kirby/Silver Age way.

Loved this intro, especially how it modernized the theme song. The orchestra and symphony, it was this epic action film. Totally wanted to play this in marching band back in high school .

I agree too. Another tune i used to hum all the time. I used to love the show as a kid. But its second season was better.
