Default If Harley Quinn joined the Justice League...

    ...what would your reaction be?

    Thumbs up

Oh hell no, I have Harley fatigue. I'm tired of her being crammed into literally everything. She's second only to Bats himself when it comes to being put places she doesn't belong.

I'd feel it was inevitable but still let out a sigh.

    A great big eyeroll.

I love Harley. I have defended her and her journey here for years and have written some lengthy posts about why she and her story matter, and I've pointed out the flaws in the detractor's arguments when they think she's been turned into a hero or whatever nonsense it is they think has been done (which they'd know if they read her book).

But Harley on the League is just about the dumbest thing you could do. There's no reason for that to happen, no reason anyone on the League would want her and no reason she'd say "yes" if they did (other than to maybe annoy them for five minutes before wandering off). I'm sure it'll happen eventually, she's popular and the League has included a number of villains, former villains, and characters who don't easily fit in the binary morality of superhero "hero-villain" dynamics (which is basically what Harls has become). It makes about as much sense as Deathstroke joining the Titans....and there's been times in Slade's history when he basically has, for all intent and purposes.

It might be a fun train wreck to watch for an issue or two, but it's not something I ever want to see.

Just put her in a team with Darkseid, Sinestro, Lex Luther, Lobo and Catwoman.

But yeah, it’s inevitable that she’ll be a member one day.

Roll my eyes and wonder if the JL will accept Terra eventually.

Well, if Hal can be un-Parralaxed and taken back into the gold then I guess Harley can too. I mean, has killed less people after all.

But for my personal taste, NO THANKS

Same as when any other villain or merc joins a team like the JLA or The Avengers. An indignant harumph w. an eye roll, followed by an old man “back in my day” rant.

Wonder Woman gets more flack for killing than Harley... So she'll take a spot on the Justice League soon enough.

The only way I can see it make sense is for it to be a sort of unofficial JL. Something street level and filled with other outcasts and misfits.
But if you're going to do that, put her in the Outsiders. That would make more sense.

Didn't one of the video games have Harley joining as part of a redemption arc? Remember liking the concept, at least as its own thing.

Well, insofar as it can be a redemption arc when it seems like the characters forget what she was culpable for, but desperate times make for desperate bedfellows in the Injustice universe...
