There was an interview recently.
Apparently he wants to do a Year One type of thing which would then go on to cover all eras; Robin, Nightwing, Batman, Grayson.
There are no specifics yet. Sorry if this has been covered already.

No offense to the NW ongoing’s creative team, but I haven’t been excited by the book in quite a while (though it seemed to be going in a more interesting direction right before everything ground to a halt due to the ongoing pandemic).
It’d be nice to see someone else get their hands on Dick.

Snyder on Nightwing can only be a good thing as far as I'm concerned. High profile writer with concrete, passionate ideas specifically for Dick. I'm in.

Yeah, this is a overall positive for Dick.
How much of a positive remains to be seen, but at the absolute worst it's still DC's biggest writer tackling the character with a story specifically built for Dick. No matter what, that's good for Dick.
Getting a look at all the eras of Dick's career means all the fans get a taste of their favorite version. And Snyder is actively working to avoid making Dick into Bat-lite.
All of this is good. And after the last few years, pretty much anything is an improvement.
I mean, what're the possible downsides, knowing what we know right now? It's an out of continuity story? It's more Dick as Batman instead of Dick as his own hero? I want Dick back as Nightwing and in quality stories as much as anyone (seriously, look at my post history!) but these "worst case" possibilities are still pretty damn good."We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us.
