Tawky Tawny - yea or nay and what version?

Firstly, the question is whether you think he still has a place in the comic. Secondly is what that place is? Is there a particular backstory you like? Or do you think you have a new idea that's better?

- Full superhero SHAZAM costumed anthropomorphic caricatures - like (classic)Hoppy.

Probably which version they invoke, should depend on the type of adventure, and who is doing the SHAZAMING!
Yet fully embrace all of them.

Don't care what the origin is. I do like the current origin just fine but it's mostly a non-issue. As long as he's a dapper dressed tiger who's quite gentlemanly I don't care how we get there.
