Great to see "Beyond Belief" on your list. Did you consider "Sparks Nevada, Marshal on Mars" as well? While Beyond Belief is superior, I enjoy both.

Agreed. Image always has the best sales, and most of all their back issues are $0.99 - $1.99.

Absolutely right. The patience and self control bit can be hard sometimes, though. :-)

I hadn't even heard of it, but I looked it up, and like you I'm now totally intrigued. I'll have to check it out.

I picked up the First Volume of Five Ghosts and really enjoyed it along with its pulp\fantastical elements.

    I highly recommend:

    B*TCH PLANET:

B-tch Planet is a kick-ass space opera with fantastic meditations on feminism. It’s at once intelligent, political, and fun.

    TREES:

Trees contains some of the best depictions of queer sexuality and gender identity I’ve ever read in a comic. All that, plus eerie sci-fi.

    THE WICKED + THE DIVINE:

The Wicked + The Divine merges celebrity and religion in a way that is both smart and delicious. And there’s not a book on the market with better art. They even got the black dude’s fade right.

Trees was really well done, i'm looking forward to the second installment. I have been tempted many times to jump into The Wicked and the Divine but haven't yet.

I'm reading Bitch Planet and Trees and loving both. I couldn't get into The Wicked + the Divine, may give it another shot via the TPB.

Sheltered ends this week and a slot has opened up. I'm thinking about adding this one.

It's worth it. And the last issue really threw me for a loop. Really looking forward to issue 5.
