I think my favourite "mom"ent , excuse the pun, would have to be Jean taking in lil Nathan as her own in a heartbeat. I was really touched by how there never really was a period of hymning or hawing, despite him not being biologically hers. well, technically. retcons aside the sentiment stands <3 I wish we got to see them play family for longer during that era

While I prefer Jean to be a young woman without kids I have always had a soft spot for when she interacts with Cable (as a baby, adult, or even kid Cable). My favorite moments include Jean caring for Cable as a baby in X-factor and of course Jean's interactions with him in the Adventures of Cyclops and Phoenix.

Ok, she's not ACTUALLY Gabby's mom, but there's still a bit of Promotion To Parent in their relationship.
X-Mom's don't always have happy stories. I still cry every time I get to this scene.
