Honestly, these days I'm just happy that she hasn't been tossed into limbo. That said, I still reckon putting her into a team would be cool.

I'm not sure how well she would work as a member of the Birds of Prey, especially if they have both Barbara and Helena on that team.

Outsiders (without Batman) or JLD may be better fits.

Judging by past team-ups she seems to get along with Babs without any issues. The one time she seemed to take issue with Helena was during Convergence, when for whatever reason she thought Helena was sleeping with Renee (Kate's Ex), but that problem went away after Helena corrected her on that assumption - causing Kate to become embarrassed and not bring it up again.

Still feel like having Kate, Barbara, AND Helena in Birds of Prey at the same time might make it a bit too Bat-heavy.

There's really not enough history to go on to answer that. Every time she's been an actual leader of a team, someone else either appointed her or she just fell into that role. I've never actually seen her push for the leadership role, and as far as I can tell, if Gotham City Monsters is anything to go by - she actually seems perfectly happy to let someone else take charge.

The exception would seem to be with Bruce where the character seems to make a point of standing her ground (not the same as insisting on leadership though), but this seems to be some kind of family-issue thing they have going on, like how in Joker War they started referring to each other as "Kane" and "Wayne".

She insists on being in charge between her and Bette, but that's because she's the better fighter.

Unknowns - fell into leadership role, seemingly by default
Gotham City Monsters - was not in any leadership position
