Ah, to return to the regular release of sequential periodicals, only for the latest X-Men release to open on blatant diacrimination. It bears the familiarity and comfort of home, in a repugnant way. Perhaps when that page was being scripted by Howard, it was viewed as simply a standard opening to the next chapter. But in light of recent events, it bears significantly more meaning, if but only in a sad, ironic way. Nevertheless, the mere existence of this comic, and our shared ability to acquire it soon, can be considered an auspicious actuality.
