    One thing I loved about 60's and 70's cartoons (and live-action cartoons) was how they wrote theme songs that summarized the whole premise of the show in less than 60 seconds, so the episodes could be shown in any order and didn't have to rely on people seeing a pilot to know what was going on. And they did it in such a way that some of us can still sing the song all the way through from memory 40+ years later.

    I think with LOTL's theme and opening it gives the basic origin story but doesn't really elaborate much on the land itself apart from a T-rex being there (Which probably is part of the reason that many think they simply went back in time when it's way more complex than that).

    LOL^ that's an absolute contradiction, yet I know exactly what you are conveying and the shows it describes (mostly looking at you Krofft bros.), must confess that is a term I've never seen used.
