One thing I loved about 60's and 70's cartoons (and live-action cartoons) was how they wrote theme songs that summarized the whole premise of the show in less than 60 seconds, so the episodes could be shown in any order and didn't have to rely on people seeing a pilot to know what was going on.

And they did it in such a way that some of us can still sing the song all the way through from memory 40+ years later.
