Default X-Men team comprised of former Avengers

I'm not counting anyone from the Bendis era and onwards, so no Wolverine or anyone from the Avengers Machine or Unity Squads. So far we got:

    Scarlet Witch
    Quicksilver
    Beast
    Firestar
    Justice
    Namor

Is there anyone else I missed? Who would be a good leader? Are the powersets good enough to be competitive against other teams? Can they get along?

That's quite a formidable team as it is!

They've got brains, strength, speed, power, magic, psy powers.

Namor could finance them and it would be between him and justice to lead.

Oh Namorita could be added but that's probably Atlantean overkill and the team will start to turn into the new warriors.

There’s not many X-Men members who are former Avengers.

Making a team is difficult because there’s little to pull from.

    That's pretty White.

I say add in Falcon back when they thought he might be a mutant.
And Ultimate Wasp, who was Asian, a mutant and a scientist.

And round it out with either Carol Danvers or Julia Carpenter

Do we want to count Warlock who was a "mutant" because he could feel empathy to others?

Jessica Drew was never an X-man, but she served as a supporting cast member at times and was good friends with Wolverine. Maybe we can sneak her in as a technicality.

    Wait. Got one.

    Spider-man.

He taught at Wolverine's school for a while and lead his own mutant team.

They all came after Bendis though, per the OP’s conditions.

Spider-man was a reserve Avenger long before Bendis. I guess he wasn't an X-man before Bendis, but they did offer him membership a time or two.

    ...

    Wait. here we go!

Captain Britain, War Machine, and Black Panther were all members of the All New All Different Excalibur... (at least according to Kitty Pryde they were.)

Switch out Quicksilver for Storm and maybe, she could add a extra dimension and more inter-human/mutant relations past experience living as a mutant and queen.

Quicksilver was thought to be a mutant.

    Lockheed is a pet.

Captain Britain I don't think really counts as Excalibur was supposed to be a "Britain Superhero Team" more than about mutants.

Cloak & Dagger, I haven't actually read whatever book they were X-Men on, but from what I've heard there was a lot of confusion as to whether they were mutants or not.

Ink's whole thing is dumb, but while he's not a mutant himself, his powers come from a mutant, so it's like...

And I think a lot of those weren't part of the main X-Men team. I mean, yeah, at the end of the day there's a bunch of non-mutants who were in the X-Men, but it's not really like it has always been free to non-mutants as well.
